Two years after the death of her sister, Shinobu Kocho became the insect pillar using poison to kill demons.
Throughout that time the demon started stalking the girl until he memorized her whole schedule. He started watching her at missions and talking to patients. Some were flirty and some just thanked her and left.
Those who flirted got eliminated quickly, so the demon would be able to be the only lover, when he found out that the young woman had a love interest.
He watched from afar getting more and more jealous, but knowing that if he killed that boy, he would have here on his own he made a perfect plan.
The demon started following the male demon slayer around until he finally found evidence that could kill him.
The Male demon slayer, the water pillar, Tomioka Giyuu let a demon alive and send her and her brother to a some sort of trainer.
The uppermoon demon then send an anonymous letter to the demon slayer headquarters to investigate the situation.
Finally Tomioka Giyuu denied it and got killed by another hashira leaving the insect pillar looking at the ground trembling.
The hashiras then left the meeting leaving Shinobu Kocho in front of the headless giyuu crying for his loss.
It was like this until nighttime when she decided to leave, but she kept feeling watched all the way back.
She always felt someone watching her, but she shrugged it off at first, but it started concerning her whenever she was doing something.

The woman just couldn't understand what's happening.
Back at the butterfly estate Aoi was cooking for the patients, while Kanao was training.
"Kanao dear. Its enough of training today. You should rest!", Shinobu said trying to hide her sadness.
Kanao just nodded and left the garden.
Shinobu sighed and walked inside aswell getting herself ready for bed.
