第十七章（第二エンディング）

Translation: Chapter Seventeen (second ending)

Shinobu's survival

Akaza dashes towards the blond haired demon while Shinobu prepares to pierce the demon into the heart.

The uppermoon two yet has other plans and dodges that attack. He makes a straight forward attack towards the hashira, but Akaza quickly protected her by wrapping his arm around her waist and jumping backwards.

"My my~ What are you doing? The fun hasn't even started yet~", Douma says as he releases his blood demon art. A vine of ice appeared and was shot towards the two. Akaza quickly backed away, knowing that it would capture them both if he didn't.

Shinobu then left the used to be upper three's grasp and quickly dashed to the demon with full anger and hatred.

Yet, to her dismay, Douma blocked her attack with his golden fans. Every time she tried piercing him, the fans always got in the way. Then the pink haired demon came along and helped her attacking him.

"Oh my~ A 2v1 is quite unfair, isn't it?", the uppermoon two asks them.

The former upper three clicked his tongue and continued attacking the 133+ year old.

The insect pillar too ignored him and attacked him as well.

After some time attacking, and Akaza taking the blow in the lungs for Kocho, a girl with a side ponytail arrived and helped the three.

"Ah, I remember that green and pink butterfly clip~ you're another sister of Shinobu-chan!", The said girl frowned slightly and used her flower breathing to help attacking.

After some time a boar head too arrived, who soon got his boar head stolen and told the story of his mother, which enraged him and he kept on attacking without thinking.

Soon the fight came to an end, with Douma getting many times pierced by Shinobu's katana and getting his head cut off by Kanao and Inosuke afterwards.

"Caw caw! Uppermoon two has been defeated! Shinobu Kocho, Akaza, Inosuke Hashibira and Kanao Tsuyuri have defeated the Upperrank demon number two!"

Soon enough another call from the crows were heard

"Caw! Caw! Uppermoon one has been defeated! Kamado Tanjiro, Tokito Muichiro, Shinazugawa Genya, Shinazugawa Sanemi and Gyomei Himejima have killed the upperrank demon number one! Shinazugawa Genya and Tokito Muichiro have fallen by that!"

Timeskip: they defeated Muzan and Tanjiro is about to turn into a demon.

Shinobu took a deep shaky breath once feeling relieved that the hell  and fear that was around for a thousand years finally ended. She was now helping out the Kakushis taking care of the fallen demon slayers. Shinobu was now in front of Tanjiro and was about to pray for him when he suddenly regenerated his lost arm and starts attacking the nearby demons.

The insect Hashira reacted quickly and saved the Kakushis. She then pulled out her Katana again and tries attacking him, but it was hard for her to do so.

All of a sudden Nezuko arrived, but she was now human and hugged her brother.

Long story short, Kanao gave Tanjiro the antidote and soon everyone lived a life with no more fear of demons.

Chou was talking to her best friend, Ageha. Both had a nice conversation while walking to the academy.

"Say, Chou-chan? Do you think we were also this close in our past life?", The long haired girl asked and Chou smiled in response.

"I believe so. I bet we were siblings."

"Yeah, and maybe we both loved butterflies so much that we had hair clips of those!"

"That's right!"

"Chou-chan!", a voice rang out and the said girl is now in a bad mood.

"What do you want scammer?"

"Quite harsh. I wanted to ask if you could go on a date with me."

Chou glared at the blonde haired man.

"No."

"What? Why?!"

"You're lucky enough that I didn't call the police for you asking a minor out. Now, get your ass moving and never walk up to me ever again.", Chou tells him before grabbing Ageha's hand and leaves with her.

The man pouted and then sighed drastically and left.

"Hey, isn't that a boy from the nearby high school? He often is staring at you", Ageha says as she notices a black haired boy staring at her.

"Huh? I think his name was Yoshiteru Agatsuma. I talked with his sister once", she tells her surprised as she too looks at the boy.

"I see. He seems to be a sweet bo-"

"Stop being a matchmaker for me already. I'm not interested in him"

"Fine..."

And just like that, the story ends. Shinobu and Kanae get reincarnated into Chou and Ageha and live the life they always wanted.

A/N: I decided not to give a third ending. This is also the end of this story, so I hope you guys enjoyed the story. Until we meet again my dear readers.
