- CHAPTER FIVE - 💰 I.E.D 💰
Iris was walking around her house, carrying Valen when her front door opened, making her quickly turn around. She sighed softly when she saw it was just Derek. "Dude, there's literally assassins running around killing supernatural creatures. I'm currently worth 20 million and my parents are worth a lot as well. Knock, or call and tell me when you're coming over." Iris said and Derek gave her a look.
"You have a protection spell around the house." He said and she raised her eyebrows slightly, "Apparently I need to put up one that keeps out annoying people." She said as she fixed Valen's outfit. "What do you want, anyways?" Iris asked, looking over at Derek, "Today's your day off, right?" He asked.
"Clearly."
"Scott needs our help testing his new beta." Derek said and Iris hummed slightly, "With what?" Iris asked. "Apparently he has anger issues." Derek said and Iris nodded slightly, "Fine, as long as it's safe for me to bring Valen. If it's my day off from work, then it's their day off from babysitting." Iris said and Derek nodded.
"Should be fine." Derek said and Iris nodded, "Then let's go." She said, grabbing Valen's car seat.

Liam walked into the locker room and went over to his locker before furrowing his brows. "What the hell? Where's my stick?" Liam asked and someone started dragging a lacrosse stick against the ground before Derek and Iris walked out, Iris holding Valen as she leaned against a locker.
"Is this yours?" Derek smirked before snapping it in half making Liam flinch a bit. Derek tossed the broken stick on the ground by Liam who looked back up with a low growl and yellow eyes making Derek raise his eyebrows while Iris watched in amusement.
Liam growled and ran at Derek but Derek just grabbed Liam by the throat and held him up to the lockers making Liam let out some growls. Valen started laughing, making Iris try to suppress a smile, but failed. "Liam." Scott said as he came out of hiding making Liam calm down, "You're right. He is angry." Iris said as Derek let Liam go.
