- CHAPTER THIRTY-FOUR - ⚡Superposition⚡
"Everything okay?" Melissa asked, making Iris look at her, "What?" She asked and Melissa raised her eyebrows. "You keep looking down at your phone. Is everything okay?" She asked and Iris glanced down at her phone which she was constantly checking, with a confused look.
"Yeah, yeah... I don't know, I just feel like I'm supposed to be expecting someone to call me but I can't think of who or why." Iris said and Melissa shrugged slightly. "Maybe it's because you're always getting calls from the kids for something supernatural." Melissa said and Iris sighed softly.
"I have this feeling like it has something to do with the kids but at the same time, not them." Iris said, "I'm sure you'll figure out what that feeling is soon." Melissa said Iris nodded slightly.
"I hope so."

"No one is unaccounted for?" Corey asked as he and Mason followed Jordan, making the Deputy slightly roll his eyes in exasperation, "You can reword the question as much as you want- the answer is still no." Jordan said while Iris walked into the station.
"Do you feel anything?" Corey asked as Iris walked up to them, "Does your Hellhound-intuition sense something wrong with the supernatural?" Mason asked, making Jordan sigh in annoyance.
"I'm a harbinger of death, not a harbinger of kidnapping! I'm also a Sheriff's deputy working on an unsolved murder that, for once, doesn't involve shapeshifters, resurrected 18th century serial killers, or me. It's just a straight-forward robbery-homicide." Jordan said, making Mason look at him incredulously.
"Straight-forward? He was bludgeoned to death and stuffed in a high school air duct!" Mason said and Jordan nodded, "And I already have your statement. Have a great day, Mason! You too, Corey." He said before turning to his girlfriend. "Can you make them leave?" He asked, making Iris chuckle and nod before he walked into evidence.
