- CHAPTER TWENTY-ONE - 🎭 Lies Of Omission 🎭
Iris laughed as her, her parents and Jordan watched as Valen completely destroyed a piece of cake while giggling. She had cake all over the tray of her high chair and all over her face and clothes. "So glad I decided not to put on her really nice clothes." Valen said and Cecile chuckled, "Pretty sure we have a picture of you that's almost exactly the same as Valen right now." Cecile said before walking over to Valen.
"Okay, mama. You go clean baby and I'll clean up this." Cecile said as she picked up Valen. Iris stood up as her mom passed her Valen, before walking over to the kitchen. She grabbed a wash cloth before setting Valen on the counter. "Here." Jordan said, turning the faucet on, making Iris smile at him before getting the wash cloth wet.
"So when are you gonna tell me?" Jordan asked, leaning against the counter as Iris started wiping off Valen's face. "Tell you what?" Iris asked, glancing at him and he raised his eyebrows, "Whatever it is that you've been wanting to tell the last couple days but haven't." He said, making Iris look at him shocked. "I can tell when there's something you want to say but you're not saying it." He said and she sighed softly.
