"I think she's coagulopathic. I need another suture." Dr. Geyer said as he and Iris did surgery on Melissa, "The bullet missed the ascending aorta. Brachiocephalic is intact." Iris said as she pulled the bullet out before dropping it into a metal bowl.
"Hemodynamics are stable." Dr. Geyer said, watching the monitor, making Iris sigh softly in relief as she closed her eyes. "She's gonna be okay." Iris said, glancing back at the door, knowing Scott was listening in the waiting area.
A little while later, Iris was talking to Stilinski when Scott walked up and looked in a room with an empty bed. "Where's my dad?" He asked in alarm as Iris and Stilinski quickly walked up to him, "Transferred to San Francisco Memorial. He's gonna be fine." Stilinski said and Scott took an anxious deep breath.
"Okay. And what about Mason?" He asked and Iris nodded slightly, "I just finished his surgery." Iris said and Scott raised his eyebrows. "Lydia?" He asked, "She's all right, too. From what I can see, the bullet missed everything that matters. They're setting up the operation room again so I can get the bullet out in a few minutes." Iris said calmly and Stilinski nodded.
