- CHAPTER ELEVEN - 💰 A Promise To The Dead 💰
Iris walked around, holding Valen before gently dipping her back, making Valen giggle loudly. Iris laughed softly, listening to her daughter giggle until someone knocked on the door. "One second!" Iris called out as she set Valen in a baby swing.
Iris walked over to the door and opened it to find Jordan standing there, making her smile and furrow her brows. "Hey, what are you doing here?" Iris asked as she stepped to the side to let Jordan in. "Today's my day off and I know it's your day off as well." Jordan said, making Iris look at him in amusement as she walked back over to Valen.
"So you've kept track of my days off, I see?" Iris asked in a teasing voice, making Jordan chuckle, "I also had something to ask you." He said as she picked up Valen. "What is it?" She asked, turning to him and he stared at her for a moment before clearing his throat.
"I've been following Peter since everything that happened at the station, I was wondering if you wanted to join me today?" Jordan asked and Iris playfully narrowed her eyes at him. "Is this your way of asking me on a date?" She asked and he smiled, "Not yet, just an excuse to hang out with you before I try to ask you out on a date." He said, making her laugh softly.
"I love to follow Peter and prove he's still a villain, but my parents are gonna be back for a while to watch Valen." Iris said and Jordan walked over to her, "I don't don't mind if she joins. An extra pair of eyes." He joked. He held his hand up to Valen, who immediately grabbed his finger and giggled. Iris smiled softly before sighing softly.
"Oh, but I mind her having to be around Peter Hale." Iris said and Jordan thought for a moment before nodding, "Good point." He said and she hummed and nodded.

"What the hell happened?" Stiles asked as he and his father walked into the loft. Furniture was smashed all over the place and glass littered the floor from the broken window and a few broken light bulbs. "It was supposed to be a date." Derek said as he, Iris and Braden glanced around.
"They were both here?" Stilinski asked, "And they're both gone." Braeden answered and Iris crouched down, pressing her hands to the ground taking a deep breath as she closed her eyes for a moment before sighing in annoyance. "What is it?" Derek asked as she stood up, "There's Berserker energy... and Kate's energy." She said and a second later Stiles's phone rang.
"Hey-" He started to say but Lydia cut him off, "Scott's been taken." Lydia said over the phone and Scott sighed. "Scott and Kira. We just don't know where." Stiles said, "Mexico. And, if you want to save his life, that's where you're going, too." Deaton said, making them all glance at each other.
▪︎□▪︎□▪︎□•□▪︎□▪︎□▪︎ AUTHOR'S NOTE: This is probably the shortest chapter I've ever written. There wasn't any scenes from the episode that would make sense for Iris to be in.
I would've added her to the scenes of Jordan and Argent but I want Iris to be there when Derek gets attacked and if I do that then I can't have her knowing about Peter betraying them.
