- CHAPTER THIRTEEN -
🎭 Creatures Of The Night 🎭

Malia stood at the front desk of the hospital, talking to Iris and Melissa when Scott and Stiles woke up. "Malia, if you were going away, and I told you "Don't worry, go have fun," what would you think I was talking about?" Stiles asked, making them look over at him, "Fun like bowling? Or sex with other guys?" Malia asked.

Iris furrowed her brows as she looked at the teenagers before she and Melissa looked at each other. Scott's eyes widened slightly as he nodded, "Okay, yeah... Now, I'm worried." He said.

A second later a few paramedics moved past them, rolling someone on a gurney. "Hey, Mom? Iris? Where's all this coming from?" Scott asked as Melissa and Iris started following the paramedics. "A jack-knifed tractor-trailer on 115- caused a major pile-up." She said as they walked away.

Iris walked into the station and glanced around before hearing Jordan's voice. "Yes, ma'am, we're having trouble with the power as well. It's most likely related to the storm." Jordan said, making Iris look over at him to see him on that phone, which was almost constantly ringing.

A few seconds later he put the phone down and glanced up to see Iris walking over to him. "What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be at work?" He asked and she let out a deep breath. "I'm on a much needed lunch break and assumed the station would be as busy as the hospital is, so I brought you coffee..." She said, trailing off slightly as she glanced around at all the paperwork on his desk and the phone that was ringing non-stop.

"What are you doing behind a desk answering phone calls and not out where you should be?" She asked, raising her eyebrows at him. He sighed softly and was about to say something when Stilinski spoke up first.

"Parrish! Check the back-up generator and make sure it's fueled! And Parrish? Answer the phone!" Stilinski said before walking into his office making Iris look at Jordan, "He still isn't letting you do anything that's not behind a desk, isn't he?" She asked and Jordan sighed and shook his head. "We're going on six months now." He said and she nodded slowly, "I'll be right back." Iris said, handing him the coffee she brought before walking over to Stilinski's office.
