*Flashback

It's the ending of spring term for college kids meaning a lot of students are headed home for the summer. Before the students leave every year they throw a huge block party shutting down the surrounding streets of the campus. Everyone from the city usually comes out even people from other states. Its a pretty big deal to be a part of the fun or hear about it later. The event starts around 5pm and performances end around 9pm but even after the event is over there are other surrounding parties going on until 1-2am. It's the most talked about event throughout the year. Since the event is so popular it's sponsored by many people so they are able to get celebrity performances.

Fatima FaceTimes Lori around 5:00pm

Fatima. Lori I'm so fucking tired of Isaiah I haven't heard from him in 2 days who tf does shit like this to someone they claim they love

Lori. Girl you deserve so much better every since he turned 18 he's been acting a ass maybe it's time to throw in the towel Ti

Fatima. Lori it's not that easy we have so much history I've know him since my freshman year how do I just let it go

Lori. Break ups are never easy but sometimes it's for best. You said it yourself he's all you've ever known so get out there and experience some more things you're way too young to be dealing with a nigga who think he can be available only when he wants to be available to you.

Fatima Knew her best friend was right it was probably time for her and Isaiah to break up for good this time...

Just as she was about to talk she got a message from a unknown number, someone sent her an attachment, she clicked the image and her heart dropped it was a photo of her boyfriend and some hoe kissing and the caption said "Our Nigga thanks for sharing" with a laughing emoji and devil emoji. Fatima hung up on Lori without saying a word and start crying her eyes out

Lori texted and called fatima multiple times with no response so she got in her car and headed to check on her. Fatima opened the door with tears in her eyes and Lori just hugged her and let her cry. They headed to the living room couch to sit and Fatima just lays her head down on Lori's lap. While Lori is rubbing Fatima's back trying to console her she asked what happened. Fatima couldn't work up any words so she just handed Lori the phone so she could see the picture
Lori Is pissed off immediately...

Lori.so this nigga is cheating on you Ti hell no!! let's go to his house fuck that nigga and that bitch get up and let's go now. Not only is he going missing on you but he ain't got his hoes in check because the bitch texting your phone some shit like that. That nigga is disrespectful as fuck and ima kick his ass like his momma should've

Fatima starts wiping her tears

Fatima. no Lori calm down please...
Fatima knows once Lori gets started it's hard to bring her back

Lori. I want to fight so let's go come on Lori says walking to the door on 10

Fatima. Lori please I'm exhausted I'm just so fucking tired of him I gave him everything and this is how he do me this shit is embarrassing just go home please
She says.

Lori Calms down and goes to sit by Fatima realizing her friend wasn't on the same type of time she was. She was just hurt and needed time to feel her feelings.
Im sorry Ti Lori hugs Fatima and just let her cry herself to sleep. Lori covers her with a blanket from the couch and heads home

A few hours later Lori calls to check on Fatima they talk a little more about the situation. While seeing her best friend so sad and hurt Lori says "Ti I can't let you go out sad like this get dressed we're going out". Last thing Fatima wants to do is be around other people so she declines. Lori offers a ultimatum that Fatima can't refuse. Ti I'm taking you out or I'm going by Isaiah house to kick his ass do you want me to go to jail cause I might kill him
