Jojo. Mommy!!
jojo kept her voice low as she ran to Fatima.
Fatima was sitting in the reclining chair with her head back resting her eyes when jojo and Liam entered the hospital room

Fatima. Hi baby she said giving her a warm hug
She was worried sick about Jaxson and being away from jojo for an additional night wasn't easy either the kids never spend more than one night away

Jojo. can we please go home now mommy jojo said looking at her mom

Fatima looked over at Liam who was just standing by Jaxson's bed almost like he was praying..
Jaxson was still asleep in the bed it was like 9:00am

Fatima. Hey baby
Fatima kissed Jojo's cheek can you do mommy a huge favor

Jojo. Yes

Fatima. can you sit here and watch your brother for me be very quiet okay he needs his rest
I just need to talk to uncle Liam right quick okay

Jojo did as she was told she pulled herself together and sat down in the seat never once taking her eyes off Jaxson while Liam and Fatima went out to the hall

Liam looked at Fatima he could tell she was barely holding it together it looked like she may have cried through the night

Liam. Ti come here he said pulling her hand towards him so he could embrace her

He said as she cried into his chest

Fatima. I'm so scared right now I just wish Zac was here

Liam. let's call him you know he'll be on the next flight home nothing is more important than y'all are

Fatima. I can't tell him Li, you know we need this new house if he loses this deal we'll be stuck at the old house longer and it's way too small for another baby.
The doctor said Jaxson is doing well and Zac will be home in a few more days i don't want to worry him-

Liam. I know you're not thinking what you're thinking
..Liam was a bit confused by her response

Fatima. I don't want to tell him at least not yet

Liam. You can't be serious you're joking right

Fatima. Don't fight me on this Liam. It's the right thing to do for our family I can handle it I swear

Liam. You're going to have to tell him , this is something you cannot keep from him you know that right, he said seriously and also confused how Fatima would even debate telling Zac

Fatima. I'll tell him I will she said while looking everywhere but at Liam

Liam. You know I know when you're lying you can't pull a fast one over me Liam decided not to pry he knows Fatima will do whatever she wants anyway that's just her

Fatima slightly chuckled at his response

Fatima. Just because we been friends our whole life doesn't mean you know me

Liam. I know you better than you think trust me
We were best friends before you and Lori don't forget that

Fatima. Who said we were best friends just because our moms were practically like sisters doesn't make us best friends

Liam. Oh whatever Ti he laughed at her.. trying to lighting the heavy mood of them standing in. Hospital...

Fatima. We are still best friends Liam she smiled "Cradle to grave right"?

Liam laughed because they haven't said that to each other since like middle school

He was actually surprised that she remembered their motto..
liam rested his back on the wall, as he stood beside her
