Mistakes 

Before Liam's lips could touch hers Fatima pushed his chest back stopping him. They looked at each other briefly before separating on both ends of the couch. Fatima rubbed her temples trying to figure out what the hell she was doing. Liam rubbed on his beard and shook his head they both knew things went way too far even though they didn't kiss. Fatima sat at her end trying to work up something to say to him and he was doing the same on his side. The room was uncomfortably quiet until Alexa alerted Fatima that the garage door was opened. The announcement made Liam and Fatima stand up from the couch and separate further. Fatima heard small footsteps running towards the living room where her and Liam stood awkwardly like strangers. Jaxson turned the corner seeing his mom...

Jaxson. Mommy!!! He said running towards her
I missed you
He wanted to jump on her but her belly was in the way
Fatima sat down and he climbed on her lap

Fatima. Hi baby I missed you more she said attacking his face with kisses
Where's daddy and jojo she said looking around noticing they haven't came in yet

Jaxson. Jojo wont get out the car she said she's staying with daddy again but mommy I want to stay with you
He said resting his head on her shoulder
Fatima rubbed his back..
"that makes mommy so happy to hear "

one thing about the kids Jaxson will always choose Fatima and Jojo will always choose Zac but Fatima couldn't help but feel hurt that jojo didn't want her.
Fatima wasn't quick to go searching for Zac and jojo she figured they would be in the house soon and she didn't want to deal with Jojo crying about coming back home with her

Fatima. Did you have fun with daddy where did you guys go.. Fatima wanted to know where they stayed

Jaxson lifted his head off of Fatima when he noticed Liam standing next to the couch. He was so focused on getting back to his mom he just realized his uncle was in the room

Jaxson. Hi Uncle Liam he said jumping off his mom and going to Liam
Which caused Liam and Fatima to look at each other for the first time after they almost made the biggest mistake of their lives
Liam kneeled down to pick Jaxson up

Liam. What's up my boy what's going on with you he says lifting him up

Jaxson. Uncle Li what are you doing here again  I thought you have to be home with my TT..
daddy is back now so you don't have to help mommy anymore, right mommy?

Fatima just quickly nodded her head, if her four year old noticed Liam has been around a lot more lately she knew she had a problem

Liam. I was actually just leaving I left my watch when I was over the other day remember when I brought your iPad back

Jaxson. Yeah the day when you were yelling at mommy in the kitchen
That wasn't nice he said folding his arms

Fatima's eyes got big she didn't know Jaxson heard them in the kitchen that night

Liam tried to deflect

Liam. I have to go back home so I can check on TT I'll see you later he said putting Jaxson back down on the floor. He wasn't sure what Jaxson may have heard that night but a lot of things were said..
Jaxson went back towards his mom
And Liam turned to leave. He left so fast out the front door he didn't even say bye soon as the front door shut zac came in the garage door. When he got to the living room he had a suit case but no journey.
Him and fatima looked at each other for a moment with pain radiating between them. It was their first time seeing each other after the argument

Fatima. Hey.
She simply says because the silence was becoming difficult

Zac. Jaxson go upstairs for me so I can talk to your mom before I leave
