[3 months later ]

Zac. Baby please stop, please don't cry. Zac turned as he heard sniffles behind him

Fatima was standing in the walk in closet watching Zac pack his bags. Zac sold a house out in Calabasas. He had to go in person to sign some paperwork which meant leaving Fatima and the kids home for a week without him. This was one of his biggest close so the opportunity couldn't be passed up and he didn't want the deal to fall through so he was taking all the necessary steps to make sure the close goes seamlessly. The goal is to move into a bigger house before baby Taylor arrives. Since Fatima is so close to delivering the doctor doesn't recommend flying and Zac and Fatima agreed it's better she stayed home so they could make Jaxson's final therapy session. Zac's company has been doing very well lately he's getting much bigger deals that are bringing in much bigger bags but his absence is always hard on Fatima and the kids.

Zac. Come here baby

he felt so bad leaving her and the kids it's honestly the hardest part of the job. He knows once they get settled in the new house he'll hire more people to handle moves like this so he can be home with his family. Zac wasn't expecting to be selling billion dollar homes in such a short time frame but it happened. This is all he's been wanting, to be able to take care of his family

Fatima. Just go honey she said through her tears in that moment she didn't want to be held she just wanted him to stay

Zac. I can't leave until I know you're okay I won't leave until you're okay
Baby I'll be back home before you know it he wipes the tears from her cheek she was breaking his heart

Fatima. I don't want you to leave us I don't want to sleep without you I'm going to miss you she cried again

Zac picked her up and walked her to the chair to sit

Zac. Look at me baby he grabbed her chin
If you really don't want me to do this I won't, there will be other homes other opportunities you and the kids come first

Fatima. No I can't let you do that for me. This is too big to miss I will be okay I can handle it just come home soon as you can

Zac. Can I have a kiss..
Fatima nods and leans in to kiss him then stopped to look in his eyes
I love you so much I'll be home before you know it, we'll get that house you wanted everything will be good. What do I always tell you?

Fatima tears up again

Zac. What do I always tell you and the kids let me hear you say it so I know I'm doing the right thing

Fatima. Short term sacrifices long term gain
She mumbles .. Zac likes to remind them that his absence is only temporary the more money he brings the more help he'll have the more he will be home

Zac. Where's the kids
Zac already knew he crossed one obstacle with Fatima but the kids are harder they hate when he leave's especially jojo

Fatima. Jojo locked her room door she's been crying all morning

Zac. You literally birthed yourself y'all act just alike
She's only 4 why she locking doors

Fatima. Knock on it she let me in earlier

Zac. Oh yeah and what did she say

Fatima. She said she's processing her emotions
Zac and Fatima chuckled because Journey never cease to amaze them

Zac. You think she'll let me in Zac asked seriously
Journey took it hard 3 weeks ago when Zac left to close the house in Vegas then a month before that he was in Miami. Let's just say the absence is hard on them all and also sudden but it'll be so worth it soon they all will see he's doing this for them.
