The next day comes around and Jaxson was in the process of getting discharged from the hospital. The doctor ordered additional testing for him to rule out other possibilities for his seizures so they end up staying at the hospital last night. Fatima was mostly nervous about the MRI testing because Jaxson was afraid to go into the machine. It took a while to calm him down but they needed the MRI results to clear him for discharge. Fatima knew she didn't want to stay a third night at the hospital so she bribed Jaxon with a brand new toy once they leave. Fatima knew she had to convince Jaxson to do the test because it was no way she could go another day lying to Zac about where her and the kids were. Lucky for Fatima, the MRI results were negative for Jaxson's brain because if it came back any different it would've prolonged his hospital stay... Fatima signed the discharge papers and was instructed by the doctor to follow up in two weeks with a pediatrician. Fatima quickly gathered her belongings along with the kids as they made their way out the hospital. The nurses were really nice they gave Jojo and Jaxson stickers and let them pick a small toy out the bin. Registration gave Fatima a ticket to validate her parking. She was still parked in the emergency room parking deck because that's where she went when she first got to the hospital two days ago.
Her and the kids walked outside and got into the car. She buckled them in before getting into the driver side. She took a deep breath while looking back at the hospital, she drove off the lot hoping to never have to see one of her children in that situation ever again, especially doing it alone....

The kids walked into the house and everyone was happy to finally be home. Although she promised Jaxson a toy she told him they would go tomorrow so she could spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing. Fatima called Liam letting him know that they were okay and that Jaxson was discharged. Liam offered to bring over dinner but she was really craving a home cooked breakfast. Fatima is known to make the best pancakes so breakfast for dinner was all she wanted and also a perfect choice for the kids because they love breakfast food....
Before completely relaxing she ran the kids baths and got them both cleaned. Since they were spending the rest of the day at home she just dressed them in pajamas. She gave them both a pack of fruit snacks while they played in their rooms so she could also shower before getting dinner started..

Fatima turned on the shower setting it at the perfect temperature before stepping in. She allowed the water to cascade over her entire body washing the stress of the week away. She washed every part of herself including her hair because she felt dirty being at the hospital those nights. She finished up and grabbed her towel off the door then went into her closet to get lotion and some lounge wear to put on.
She struggled to find something comfortable due to the size of her belly so she went to Zac's side of the closet to get a tshirt to put on... Before slipping it over her head she stopped to smell it, slowly taking in his scent that she missed so much. Her eyes fought back tears wishing he was home. She needed him, she wanted him the last 2 days were hell without him. She collected herself so she could stay strong for the kids. She savored his scent a little longer before putting her head into the shirt, she put on a pair a jogging shorts and slippers before one of the kids walked in behind her

Jaxson. Mommy
Jaxson said lowly as he entered the closest.. her back was turned facing the clothes

Fatima. Hi baby give mommy just a second I'll be out in a minute okay.
She didn't want to turn around she knew her eyes were red and she was certain that the hopelessness she felt would read all over her face

Jaxson. Mommy are you okay
Jaxson knew something was wrong he could feel it

Fatima didn't answer she just stared up at the ceiling hoping her tears would dry up so her son wouldn't have to see them

Fatima. Yeah I'm okay, mommy just finished getting dressed so I'll be right out, she responds with her voice slightly cracking

Jaxson started to feel like it was his fault that she was sad because he had to go to the hospital
