Zay. Baby wake up he says rubbing on her back. You slept through the alarm it's time for jojo to go to school ..
you want me to take her before I go to the office I can  cancel my meeting? Fatima gets up abruptly realizing she slept in...
yesterday was still weighing heavy on her mind

Fatima. No I got it I'm sorry I was just tired

Zay. You tossed and turned again all last night is everything okay? Zay asked her again because she hasn't been sleeping well

Fatima. Yes everything is fine she says with a forced smile

Zay. We're good right and if something was wrong you would tell me? You can talk to me about anything you know that

Fatima. Yes baby but it's nothing trust me.
Fatima kisses him and assures him that everything will be okay

Zay. Okay I made breakfast and got JoJo ready you just have to get up and get ready, he says looking in her eyes he can feel the distance in them something is wrong he just doesn't know what it is

Fatima gets up and does her morning routine before heading downstairs to make her and journey a plate, she grabs the hair box for jojo's hair on her way down .

Fatima. Come on jojo grab your book bag and meet me in the dinning room so I can do your hair and don't sneak that iPad to school with you again
... She gets to the kitchen and realizes Zay already made both of their plates and had them ready on the dinning room table. She smiles seeing Jojo's plate because It was a smiley face...pancakes for the eyes fruit for the nose and a bacon smile.

Fatima decides on a ponytail since they were cutting it close on time. She did her hair while JoJo ate. Jojo was still sleepy since she was up watching movies past her bedtime so she wasn't in the best mood this morning

Jojo. Daddy i don't want to go to school today, jojo says walking over to Zay

Zay. And why is that princess he says picking her up

Jojo. I don't want to do circle time it's just so boring I want to stay home and I want you to stay home

Zay. it's just 3 hours youre still in preschool when you go to kindergarten the days will be much longer

Jojo. I don't want to go to kindergarten either I'm tired of school

Zay. How about this if you have a good day today I'll take you to target tomorrow how does that sound
Jojo offers up a smile and agrees.. he kneels to put her down and watches as she walks towards the door with Fatima

Jojo stops and runs back over to Zay

Jojo. I'll see you later daddy she says giving him a tight hug

Zay. Bye princess I'll see you later he says smothering her in kisses, how did you know I needed another hug...Fatima smiles while watching them they really are so cute together.
Zay puts jojo down fixing her heart necklace that he got her for Christmas...
remember daddy is always with you even at school he says holding the necklace... what's our motto?

Jojo starts to recite their daddy daughter motto
"hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard"

Zay. Good job baby he says following up with their secret handshake... and what does that mean?

Jojo. Never stop doing my best and always work hard

Zay. That's right baby go be great today he says giving her another kiss and walking jojo and Fatima to the car

All the parents are arriving at the school to drop off their kids waiting outside for the teachers to come get them. Zac has been waiting for Fatima to pull up so he can talk to her. The teacher comes out to get the class and Zac watches as all the kids run in. Journey runs past him so he turns to see where Fatima was and walks towards her car. Fatima rolls her eyes watching him approach
