Na Jaemin sat there, waiting his turn to be called on stage to give his graduation speech. His friends had already gone and now it was him. He just had to do this and then he could go back home and relax. No more uni.

At least that's what he thought. He was left confused when a girl's name was called out instead of his.

Principal: Now the student before our student of the year, Park Ara!

He heard the clicking of heels against the floor of the basketball gym. The male turned around, confused to hear the female's name for the first time ever in his life. Though his eyes met with a female wearing a long velvet dress that sparkled, a slit running down the side to show off her perfectly tanned leg. She wore a hat that covered half her face. But the diamond jewels that hung off the hat, caught Jaemin's eyes.

As she walked past him he caught sight of her eyes but was surprised to see a red glint. Sitting back in his seat, uncomfortable and lost, he turned to his friend.

Jaemin: Do you know her?

Jeno: yeah... why would you ask that? We have talked to her plenty of times.

Jaemin: you don't say...

Jeno looked at him weirdly. Jaemin faced the girl again, still not finding Jeno's comment convincing since he couldn't recall a memory of talking to her.

Jaemin: Why is she wearing that dress though?

Jeno: What do you mean... she is wearing the graduating gown- Are you okay Jaem?

Jaemin: I...

Jeno: Do you need to go to the medical bay? I could take you-

Jaemin: No... no i am fine...

Though he didn't seem very convinced.

Jaemin faced back towards the front, eyes falling on the girl again. She slightly lifted her black hat with her finger, a smirk adorning her red lips. As her hat lifted he made eye contact with her. Those red eyes staring back at him. Skin so pale she was almost white. But her make up and features were so contrasting making her stand out.

He felt his skin crawl at her appearance. He scanned the room for a similar reaction but saw everyone being normal.

Ara: Well... for starters... i am very happy to receive a piece of paper, thank you.

Her voice was smooth yet cold. Though her smirk stayed and her eyes were on him the entire time while she was spewing nonsense, but the students and teachers looked at her as if she was the sweetest girl in the universe.

Jaemin: Am i hallucinating?

He whispered to himself.

Jeno: What?

Jaemin: Huh? Nothing...

Principal: Thank you Ara. Now... for the last student and the student of the year, Na Jaemin.

Jaemin, though was still stuck in his seat until Jeno pushed him off it. Jaemin stumbled into the way, straightening up awkwardly as all eyes were on him. He cleared his throat avoiding the chuckles he heard.

He made it to the stage but saw that Ara was coming down the stairs. Their eyes met again and she smirked wider. Jaemin looked away, climbing up onto the stage and accepting the rewards before approaching the mike.

He opened his mouth to say the speech he had managed to prepare for the past week, but... when he saw the girl standing at the end of the line of seats, staring at him, a sudden shot of pain spread through his chest.

His hand held onto his chest as he started feeling suffocated. He heard the hall go into a panic mode as his knees buckled and his eyes screwed shut.

Mrs. Kim: Jaemin? Jaemin?!

His professor was next to him in no time as Jaemin continued grabbing his chest in pain. Though he opened his eyes to look at Ara again. And all he saw was her smiling and chuckling before leaving the hall.
