⇝Epilogue

Jaemin stirred awake and sat up. He let out a sigh before finally looking around and taking the place in. His eyes skimmed the endless fields of grass, trees and other plants. There was a stream of water nearby and there was a scent of solace in the air.

Then it hit him.

Ara.

He looked around and saw another body stirring awake on the other side of a line of trees. 

Jaemin: Ara?

He called out and she turned. Their eyes widened on recognition and the two quickly got to their feet running towards each other. Jaemin caught Ara in his embrace as the two held each other tightly, not wanting to let go. He rested his head in the crook of her neck, taking in every bit of her. They had gone through too much to let go too soon. He couldn't bare another amount of burden just to be with the woman he loves.

The two stood in each other's hold for a long time before breaking apart a little. Jaemin's arms stayed around Ara as she caressed his cheeks with her thumbs. 

Ara: Jaemin? God... We're okay... we're okay?

He hummed and took a hold of her hand kissing the inside of her palm. 

Jaemin: Yeah... we're okay... 

She looked around while Jaemin fixed her hair, taking out a few green leaves from it. 

Ara: Oh my... i know where we are.

Jaemin: Hm?

Ara: I remembering dropping a soul here, when I was death.

Jaemin: What do you mean? Where are we? As far as I remember, you were to go to heaven and I was to remain death...

His voice decreased to a whisper as he looked down at his comfortable white clothes. 

Jaemin: Wha- Where... Where are we?

He asked looking back at Ara. She smiled wide, tears welling in her eyes as she cupped his cheeks. 

Ara: They sent us to the fields of paradise Jaem... we are really okay. We are free.

That marks the end of Book 1 in Glitch-verse! I have two other ideas for this series with one member from WayV and the other from 127. I am thinking of making a fourth one possibly for a member from Wish, but we will see. It takes me so long to write these days and its all because of exams. I have exam season till like June so :'(
