Ara: Where are you?

Rain poured down at her as she looked around, the umbrella in her hand not being used for her. Normally she could track him down using her magic. But today, she couldn't. She tried teleporting... it didn't work. 

And then it dawned on her. 

Her magic was taken away. That was the invisible push... But that only meant it would be harder to find him. 

Ara: Jaemin!

The rain overpowered her voice and she let out a grunt, looking around.

Ara: Where would he go? Where can he go?

Then it clicked. The park... his thinking trail.

She ran till she reached there and saw him seated at a bench, soaking in the rain. She opened the umbrella and held it above his head, knowing he gets sick easily. He looked up but was just as quick to look away. 

Ara: Jaem... why would you run out when its raining?

Jaemin: Its not fair... Why didn't you tell me?

She sighed and sat next to him. It was silent for a moment until Jaemin's voice croaked out again.

Jaemin: Why...

She decided maybe an explanation would be the best right now.

Ara: At first it was because i couldn't. But then... it was because when you told me that you would die but would never let us end this while ignoring each other... i felt like i was not fighting enough. And i knew that if i told you the complete truth you wouldn't be up for it. So...

He sniffled and then sneezed.

Ara: We should head back. You don't want to skip Jeno's wedding now, would yo-

Jaemin: Was this actually worth it?

She wanted to answer... but Taeyong's words hit her like a truck now.

Ara: Is it ever?

Jaehyun's fists balled and he contained himself from lashing out.

Civil: This is outrageous.

Love: Please, do you ever say anything else?

Time: You don't get to say anything, Deity of love. You are at equal fault for even telling that to them.

Judgement: She's right. You're at equal blame. You only care about them because its a tragic love story and you love some drama.

Love, or better known as Taeyong just rolled his eyes and leaned back in his chair. 

Envy: What are we supposed to do?

Fair: Why even bother? We already wrote his fate and that rogue death knew what was coming.

Love: Come on, my lord. What do you say? Kill your favorite death?

Fair: Hey! No biases.

Love: Too bad he has already chosen. 

But Jaehyun stayed quiet. It was true he didn't want Ara to be gone. And he had a fair reason.

Fair: That's still no excuse.

Love: God damn, Fair. Do you not know a thing or two about love? Our lord has caught feelings for our favourite little demon.

All the entities looked at Jaehyun who was staring at the hologram of Jaemin and Ara. He then shot a look at Taeyong.

Jaehyun: Stay in your lane.

He spoke in Taeyong's mind but Taeyong just smirked.

Jaehyun: Nonsense. The punishments will be in order for tomorrow. Nothing changed their fate.

Fate: You're god damn right.
