Ara and Jaemin's eyes met and there was a moment of understanding.

Taeyong: Her telling him that they have been in love for all of their human lives, will not drive her away.

Jaehyun kept her eyes on Ara who was staring at Jaemin.

Taeyong: So they will be fine. We should head back.

In a flash they were gone, the zap breaking their eye contact. Ara cleared her throat and smiled to herself.

Jaemin: So...

She turned to him, her smile never leaving her face.

Jaemin: Um... we- we have been...

Ara: I heard.

He chuckled and looked away.

Jaemin: I didn't expect it to be outed like this.

Ara: Yeah... I mean... really... when I saw Taeyong my sudden attraction to you just... increased.

Jaemin: He has that affect... being the love god and all.

Ara: Oh... so he is the love god?

Jaemin: yeah...

She stepped closer to him.

Ara: Jaem-

Jaemin: Not now.

He whispered and she tilted her head in confusion.

Jaemin: Your fiancé is glaring at me.

He said while looking away from her eyes. She turned and saw Daesung staring at them with envious eyes. 

Jaemin: I don't think he wants to lose those shares and sees me as competition. You should go. 

Ara: How can he even see you now?

She whispered back, both their eyes still on Daesung, who didn't back down either. 

Jaemin: Its the last thirty six hours of your life. Most of my power will go into keeping you safe and its normal for a death to become visible by now. 

Ara: Hm...

Jaemin: You're not going? Your parents will be looking for you to show off to more people. 

Ara: They aren't proud of me. They just want to boast that i have done so well despite a heart condition, basically they have spent so much money on me out of their kindness at heart.

Jaemin: I don't know if this will be comforting but they can't do that for longer. Give them a final satisfaction?

Ara shook her head and let out a tired sigh.

Ara: I don't want to go back.

She said, looking away from Daesung and back to Jaemin. The Death just smirked before looking at Ara and she got to know the reason behind his sly smile. Daesung stormed into the balcony, looking pissed. 

Daesung: Enough games, Ara. Let's go back.

Jaemin: You heard him, Ara.

Ara: And you heard me. 

Daesung: Yah Park Ara!

Ara: Shut up! Just shut your stinky trap Daesung. You're annoying.

The male scoffed and Jaemin's smile grew in amusement. 

Jaemin: You're serious, huh?

Ara: Yes. 

Jaemin: Alright then.

He looked at Daesung before taking Ara's hand. 

Jaemin: Sorry Daesung, to steal her from you. 

Jaemin winked at him, not sounding very apologetic, before snapping his fingers. Ara felt a familiar pull in relief. If she was left with less than two days, she would rather know everything about before this. Everything about Jaemin and her from the male himself.
