Jaemin: you're joking!

He said scoffing out a laugh.

Ara: If i was, i wouldn't give you chest pains now would I?

He turned away from her, finding her presence and her words very disturbing.

Jaemin: Why am i going to hell?

Ara: You're a bully.

Jaemin: I am not a bully.

Ara: That's what they all say. Thieves say they don't steal, murderers say they don't kill, and a bully says they don't bully.

Jaemin: You're delusional.

Ara: How dare you call death delusional!

Jaemin just looked at her, not really believing her. 

Ara: I sense you don't believe me.

Jaemin: What gave it away?

Ara: You're stink eye.

She stood up walking over to him, making him back up, hitting the wall behind him. 

Ara: How about I make you believe me?

Jaemin: H-

Ara: I will show you another one of my souls, who surprisingly dies today. What a coincidence. Let's go?

Jaemin: Um no-

He didn't get much say as she was already covering his eyes. The next time he opened his eyes they were in between a road. More specifically they were right in the middle of an x road. The wind of the early evening swiftly passed by them, messing his hair up. 

The wind got into his eyes making him squint to look around.

Jaemin: Where the hell are we?!

Ara: A place to prove you who I am. 

Jaemin: What's going to happen here? All the roads are empty.

She chuckled, raising her hand to flick her fingers. The next second the road was filled with vehicles coming right at them. 

Jaemin: Y-Yah! They will hit us!

Ara: Chill out. You're going die soon anyway.

Jaemin looked at her as if she was mental. He was still confused about the entire death thing. Though his attention shifted back to a truck coming right at them. His eyes widened. 

Jaemin: Oh i don't want to die like this.

Ara: lovely to know.

She raised her hand, making a single swift movement in the air. Suddenly the vehicles all slowed down to the speed of a snail. 

Ara turned to him while he was still trying to digest what was happening.

Ara: So... you see that person...

Jaemin turned to her to see that she was pointing at something. Following her finger she saw a male running across the road with a phone to his ear, in slow motion as well. 

Ara: Look here dummy.

He turned to see her hand him a card. He took it and before he could even read it she pulled him back to a divider and swayed her hand again. Everything went back to normal speed. Though in the next second there was a crash and Jaemin flinched seeing that the man who was crossing in a hurry was hit by the truck. 

Eye widening and mouth hung open in sheer shock he turned to the girl. But she had lost that smirk and now wore a grim expression while stepping forward. Though she was stopped by Jaemin who held her wrist.

Jaemin: Where are you going?

Ara: I am doing my job.

She jerked her hand off before walking to the accident place. Feeling helpless Jaemin followed her to the crowd that was gathering to see that the man was releasing sharp breaths, eyes wide, blood flowing out from numerous places. The strangers were calling for the ambulance but Jaemin noticed that the dying man's eyes were on Ara. 

The girl bent down and hovered a hand over his chest and closed her eyes. Jaemin observed for a moment only to notice that the man stopped breathing completely. As realization hit him, his eyes flew to the card Ara had given him.

People around them were gasping but didn't seem to take notice of the girl who stood up, tucking her hands in her pocket again. 

Jaemin, confused, stood there frozen for a good minute before running to catch up with her.

Jaemin: What did you do?

Ara: What do you think? I took his life away from him.
