The shock made Ara gasp. She knew she had to expect it but it was all too sudden.

Ara: Jaemin...?

She couldn't feel his soul dying, something she normally felt when she saw one of her souls die. Besides Jaehyun said this passing would be way more effective.

She crouched close to him and turned him to his back, only to be shocked. She brought out the card of Jaemin's death.

But he was not dead....he was very much breathing because the bullet reached his arm... not his chest like it should have.

Ara stared at the male lying on a bed, white sheets covering him as he slept, still unconscious... but very much breathing.

The doctor went on and on but she didn't even pay heed to what was being said. Jaemin should have been dead. But he was lying there, very much alive. 

Someone stood next to her and just from his energy she could tell who it was.

Ara: What happens now?

Jaehyun: A council meeting. 

Ara: I didn't do anythi-

Jaehyun: You told him how he was about to die. That was enough. Leave him be now, come on.

He just lightly touched her shoulder and she shut her eyes. 

The next second she opened them, she was in a brightly lit white room, much in contrast with her black outfit. She was silent though as she had her eyes on the marble floor where as she was aware of the eyes on her.

the entities sitting there, all representing some essential part of life was staring at her like she broke all the laws of life. Except one who only looked at her with pity. he being the entity of love.

Civil: This is outrageous.

Time: Well we have a rule book. Just look it up please, i have work to do. Let's just get over this.

Judgement: Fine-

Envy: So unfair that you get to decide everything. Give others a chance-

Jaehyun: How about we just let Judgement handle this Envy? I am still the one deciding if she gets to serve what she deserved.

Fair: You wouldn't be biased would you?

Jaehyun: Have you ever seen me being emotionally attached to any of my Deaths.

He said swirling his purple wine.

He said with a widening smile. Jaehyun stared at him with a blank look before looking down at Ara who just fiddled around in her place. He swallowed a lump of emotions as he remembered what had gone down. 

But instead of spiralling into a sea of emotions, Jaehyun shook his head, knowing he had a role to fulfil. The female in front of him was nothing as she was before.

Jaehyun: Judgement... you can begin.
