Song one: Angel Pt. 1 by Jimin, JVKE, Kodak Black, NLE Choppa, Muni Long (I HAD TO! IT'S PERFECT OKAY?!)
Yoongi was beginning to crack.
He didn't know much longer he could continue to push his soulmate away before he hit a breaking point. She was seeping into his very essence, and it painfully tore at his soul every time he deliberately hurt her. She was driving him to utter madness, and he didn't know how to escape.
He cursed and threw back the remainder of his whiskey, slamming the empty glass on his desk. He had shut himself inside of his mini studio after coming back from their inane soul therapy session. He was damn tired of getting poked and prodded by that relentless woman. Yoongi had been in and out of therapy for the past ten years, so he knew how to game the system. He knew just what to say and, more importantly, what not to say. But this one, Ms. Song, was something else. He was going to have to be more strategic with her. She saw too much, and she was too persistent.
He leaned back in his desk chair and closed his eyes, trying to calm his racing thoughts.
Before Sabrina, his life was fine. He had a singular purpose and no distractions to pull him away from his life's work. He had no time for relationships outside of his family and his members and that was how he preferred it.
Sure, he liked to fuck, and he had a few rotating regulars that he routinely hit up, but ever since his debut, he never entertained the idea of a romantic relationship. He knew the pain that came from love, and he was never going to subject himself to that again.
But of course. The universe had decided to fuck with him by "gifting" him a permanent relationship in the form of a soulmate.
After the initial shock and anger had subsided, he found himself confused. She was nothing like what he would have chosen for himself. Sabrina was the exact opposite of her. She was a little bit shorter than him, and at first glance, he thought her too chubby. Her curly hair was too wild, her eyes were too big, her skin was too freckly, and her face was too expressive. He was seriously appalled that fate had given him an uncultured, dumpy American.
Yoongi didn't even know why he reacted that way at first. He usually didn't give a fuck about what people looked like. Everyone was unique. What mattered most to Yoongi were the vibes he got from people. He looked at someone's actions, not their outward appearances to find beauty.
A week after the bonding, he and Joon were having yet another argument about her, and Yoongi let slip that he thought she was fat. Joon reacted by whacking him upside the head and yelling at him about society's fucked up beauty perceptions, and how ARMY would be so disappointed in him. He then proceeded to give Yoongi the cold shoulder for a few days. He'd never seen Joon so angry with him.
But, as time went on, he found that she was not as he had first thought. He had kicked himself more than once for thinking she was fat. He often caught himself staring at her luscious curves, admiring how they flowed into soft hips and ample breasts. And when he held her night, his self-control was put to the test. She was perfectly soft and sweet, and she fit just right against him. But judging by the way she carried herself, he knew she wasn't confident in her image. He could tell that she didn't know how beautiful she was, and that irritated him.
