**TRIGGER WARNING THROUGHOUT! TALK OF ABUSE/SUICIDE/DUBIOUS CONSENT**
Yoongi had been staring at the wall of his hospital room for the past few hours, just drowning in self doubt. His mind kept running over every little thing that had led up to Sabrina's desperate act. His brain kept snagging on one single thought over and over--was it possible that he had been wrong? But then what about all of the things he'd seen in that email? What about Mr. Cha's intel on her? Her ex's accusations?
But Yoongi found that the more he thought it all through, the more wildly out of context and easily fabricated that 'evidence' could've been. Did Mr. Cha trick him? Was this all just a cruel and elaborate ruse to tear Sabrina away from him? And why...why didn't he just talk to her about it?! Why did he fly off the handle?
He thought he had gotten a handle on his anger issues. He thought he had finally left his past behind him. Why did he overreact so spectacularly?
Before Bang PD left the hospital, he had questioned Yoongi further about the anonymous email and his meeting with Mr. Cha. He instructed Yoongi to forward the email to him and then assured him that he was going to look into it. Yoongi trusted Bang to get to the bottom of it. He had endless resources and an iron will. Yoongi knew that if there was one thing that the CEO took very seriously, it was the integrity of his company and its employees.
Dr. Lee had also swung by to check on Yoongi. After giving him a thorough once over, he declared Yoongi healthy but weak. He had also been very tight lipped about Sabrina. Yoongi got the feeling that the stoic doctor wasn't very fond of him and he only deigned to make sure he was okay due to his hippocratic oath. But that was fine, Yoongi supposed. He wasn't fond of himself either.
He glanced over at the couch and saw Namjoon hunched over a book. He had been stuck to Yoongi like glue since the moment everyone else left earlier that morning. He supposed he was a little grateful to him, even if it did feel like he was being babysat. He didn't think he could handle being alone with his own self doubt.
Plus, one of Sabrina's friends, Liam or something or other, had come by and demanded to speak to Yoongi but Joon had held him back and even called security to escort him out. Yoongi was able to breathe a bit easier after that. The last thing he needed was another beat down from one of Sabrina's friends. He was beating himself up enough already.
It was sometime after dinner when Bang returned to Yoongi's hospital room. Joon sat up rigidly and watched their boss enter with wary eyes. He was waiting for Bang to read him the riot act for not keeping a closer eye on his members. Namjoon had failed as a leader and as a friend, and the guilt was eating him up inside. He knew he had to face the music sooner or later.
But Bang just smiled kindly at him and said, "Namjoon. You've been up for far too long. Please go home and take a shower and then get some rest. I'll be here with this one for a bit."
Joon hesitated and then nodded before standing up. He bowed and then headed for the door but paused mid-stride when Bang said, "No one could've predicted this, Joon-ah. Don't be too hard on yourself, got it?"
Joon turned and bowed again, his eyes glinting with what looked like unshed tears but he whipped around and hastily left the room before they could fall.
After the door swung closed, Bang tiredly scrubbed a hand down his face and then pulled a chair up to Yoongi's bedside.
"First, I want to apologize for my behavior last night. I was in shock from the sudden turn of events and I reacted poorly. Yes, you royally fucked up. But I didn't make it much better by threatening you all," Bang sighed and looked down at his lap for a moment before going on, "And...I should've intervened earlier and stopped Mr. Cha from getting closer to you. What happened with your soul–Sabrina, is unimaginable. I'm truly sorry that you had to go through all of this," he said earnestly.
