***** Chapter 9 - Tommy *****
Odette just about managed to pull herself up off the bathroom floor as she attempted to pick up her notebooks, before stumbling out the bathroom.
"Oi new girl!"
Odette turned, hearing a deep voice she didn't recognise. A tall blonde boy was coming closer to her, a rucksack slung over his shoulder as he made no attempt to hide the fact his eyes were roaming her.
"My name's Odette you know." She tried to retort sarcastically but her body was still very much trying to recover from Ace...
He smirked as he stopped by her side. "Now I know what name to moan out tonight."
Odette grimaced slightly as she looked up at him. "Does that line actually work?"
"You'd be surprised." He kept his smirk as he held his hand out to her. "Tommy."
Odette looked down at it before looking back up at him. "Pleasure." She mumbled, not shaking his hand as she went to walk away.
"Hey new girl, don't be walking away from me." Tommy laughed out as he followed her through the empty halls. "The fact that you ain't in class tells me you ain't exactly the type to care about bending a few rules."
Odette rolled her eyes slightly as she tried to stay focused on walking, but Tommy was right on her heel by her side.
"Oh come on new girl, you rock up on your first day and so far you ain't been in any lesson but you're all good to wear such a-" Tommy seemed to pause as he leant back, letting his eyes go up and down her dress. "Such an enticing outfit." He finished with a small smirk.
"Your point?" Odette sighed as she looked up at him.
Tommy shrugged slightly as he reached a hand into his pocket, pulling out a small plastic bag that contained what was clearly a joint.
"Wanna get high?"
Odette hesitated before nodding. After everything that happened with Ace, the thought of getting high definitely appealed to her.
"Atta girl." Tommy smirked down at her as he led the way towards one of the school exits.
Odette followed silently as she saw how empty the playgrounds were when all the other students were in class.
