~ 4 ~

Dream:

"Listen up! Today 2 new recruits officially enter today. Sergeant Kaia Russ and Sergeant Lucas Steele." Captain price said as everyone from Task Force 141 sat watching.

I was standing next to Price along with Steele, I was very nervous.

"I want you to help them adapt to our routines and rules. Be their teachers and perfect them, but also make them feel like part of our family. At the end of it all, they are now part of us. Agreed?" Price said as he gave Steele and me a smile.

I looked at Task Force 141 and they all looked friendly...especially the girl with the Arabian features. She was beautiful, and as she noticed me looking at her she gave me a huge smile, which made me forget my fear of rejection in seconds.

The others were men, there was one with a very peculiar Mohawk, he also gave me a smile, there was another one with a cutie boy face and finally there was another one with a caravel mask...it was a little bit scary. I could only see his eyes...they were brown and his eyelashes were barely noticeable.

I could tell that of all of them the one who really didn't look friendly at all was the man with the mask.

"Farah, help Russ get settled in, give her a little tour of the base so she can familiarize herself with the Area." Price told her.

The girl stand up from her seat and agreed with a smile.

"Guys, either of you can take over for Steele."

Farah told me to go with her, the two of us started walking all around the base while she told me about the base operations and everything important. We arrived at the barracks, where I will start sharing along with Farah.

As I put away and arranged all my belongings, Farah just looked at me with a lot of intrigue.

"W-what?" I asked her, laughing nervously.

"Nothing! Just-it's just weird to have a female partner! It's always been all men, but believe me I'm so happy to have a woman!" Farah said.

"Hey- the guys...are they good?" I asked sitting on the bed.

"Who Soap, Gaz and Ghost?"

"Yeah..."

"Yes! They are good people. At first, Ghost was very dry and bitter towards me, but after a long time he started to get along with me. While Gaz and Soap were always very friendly with me. Just like Alex." Farah said as she looked at me.

"Alex?"

"Ah yes...he's not on base right now...but-he's part of Task Force 141. Thanks to him-thanks to him I'm part of Task Force." Farah said looking down at her hands.

She's blushing?

"Why I feel like you like this Alex guy?" I said laughing.

"Because- I really do like him." Farah said laughing too but her voice was lighter than before.

"I KNEW IT!"

"But-but! You can't say anything!" Farah said as her face got redder and redder.

"Hahahahah don't worry, I won't say anything."

"Thank you."

I opened my eyes and the strong light around me made my vision blur a little...I opened and closed my eyes again to adjust to it.

I was looking at the ceiling which was white, I tried to get up but my throat started to hurt, I raised my right hand and touched some tubes which were going towards my mouth...
