After everything Ghost told me, I couldn't sleep. I kept asking myself thousands of questions and trying or rather forcing my memory to remember more.

It was obvious that before this stupid accident, I knew everything about the death of my parents, about the network of crimes that my biological father and paternal grandfather have and many more things...but now? Now I'm on the damn air.

"Good morning" I said as I walked into the office. Soap, Gaz and Farah were already glued to their computers doing reports and all kinds of important stuff.

"Good morning, Russ." Soap answered me as well as the others.

I sat down at my desk and started preparing my reports. I was logging into one of the important pages of the unit but I needed some codes and a password.

I looked through my personal papers and nothing I had written down opened the account and of course...I didn't remember anything either.

I looked toward the individual office doors which were Price's and Ghost's. Hoping one of the two of them would be present to see if they could help me. The light in Price's office was off meaning he had not yet arrived at his office but the light in Ghost's office was on.

I got up from my seat and took a pen and a piece of paper. Arriving at his door I knocked twice waiting for his acceptance.

"Come in" I heard Ghost's voice.

I opened the door and walked in with a friendly smile- "good morning, LT." I told him before everything.

Ghost stopped writing lowering his pen and looking at me- "Morning Kaia." His voice was deep and very...British.

"Sorry to bother you but I was about to enter my reports into the system but I need a password and code which I don't remember." I said approaching his desk.

"The unit system?" Ghost asked me.

"If by any chance...do you know my password and code?" I told him a little embarrassed.

Ghost was quiet but a few seconds later he reacted by laughing a little. That made me feel a little relieved.

"Yea' yes I do." Ghost said opening his palm which had no gloves...his hands were full of sprouted veins and on one arm only which he had raised near his wrist you could see his tattoos a bit and on that same arm he had his marriage ring....

I handed him my paper and he quickly picked up the pen starting to write everything down.

"Here ya' go." Ghost in said handing me the paper again.

I looked at the paper and it just said....
PassW- MarlyaRR23
Code- 02/15/2020

"Marlya? Who is that? Someone important to me?" I asked with a confused smile.

Ghost looked up again but his eyes were just staring at me with no expression.

Ghost looked at his wrist where he had a watch and got up- "I have a meeting, see you later." With that he left the office without answering my question.

"Marlya" I said reading again, but the name didn't ring any bells in my brain.

Ghost's POV:

I couldn't hide my emotions... it was all over my face. Her innocence, her confusion, it was really hurting me. To be honest, I was trying to avoid showing her how difficult this situation was for me, but I couldn't hide my sadness from her.

Once I made it to the meeting office, I closed the door behind me...I lied to her...there were no meeting....i just needed some space, I took a breath and... sighed. I was struggling with myself. I didn't know how we both going to get through this... not knowing whether Kaia would ever remember her own memories.
