What happens when people disappear?

People are born, grow up, live and die but what they don't do is disappear into thin air, as if they never existed.

According to the FBI, in the year 2020 about 365,348 children went missing in the United States...but that's just children. What is the overall average?

How many missing women are out there?

How many missing men are out there?

How many...missing soldiers are out there?....

I opened my eyes slowly, while my whole body was in shock from the severe pain I felt. I couldn't help but give an occasional moan of pain as I put my hands on the floor and settled on the wall right behind me.

"Calm down, calm down." I heard Soap's voice say to me as he helped me up.

It was pitch black and it was almost impossible to see around us. But the human's visual capacity is so great that our eyes after a while got used to the darkness allowing us to see even if it was almost nil.

Soap leaned against the wall just like me right next to me. Nothing could be heard but our breathing.

I touched my body so I could feel my uniform and what was on me and basically I had nothing...just my uniform.

"They took everything off us. Bulletproof vests, gear, guns, radios, GPS and knives." Soap told me.

I felt like I was going to start hyperventilating. My heart was beating hard, I felt my hands shaking, and I felt a lot of sweat over my neck and face.

"Did you get a look at their faces or something?" I asked Soap but my voice was a little shaky.

"No. They had us blindfolded, they're Russian. They were speaking English but the accent is very easily to persuaded." Soap told me.

I was silent trying to think of something, we had to do something.

"Price will find us. Don't worry." Soap tried to comfort me, he took my hand and we both held it in silence.

I felt good that he was here with me, but it made me feel bad that we could both be in danger that we couldn't control.

The hours passed very slowly. We didn't know if it was dark or if it was already night or if it was already the next day. Nothing.

My guts were starting to make themselves felt....

"I'm hungry." I said.

"Same lass. Thirsty too." Soap said to me as he gave a grunt.

Boot steps began to sound like they were approaching us. Soap and I stood still as we looked towards a metal door that Soap found.

The door rattled and opened...the strong light from outside illuminated our room. I took the time to look around us and memorize every detail of it.

It was a small room, there was a single mattress in one corner, a bucket and nothing else. I looked at the floor and everything was full of mold or dirt.

"GET UP!" The soldier shouted at us. He wasn't alone, there were 3 more waiting outside the room. Soap helped me up.

One of the soldiers grabbed him and started blindfolded him while another did the same to me.

They tied our hands and guided us with ropes as if we were animals.

The more I walked the more my whole body and torso hurt, something was definitely broken.

We didn't walk that long, about 1 minute until another door rang and we entered the place.

They sat me in a chair and I heard Soap being sat next to me. They tied our feet against the chair and took off our blindfolds.
