Ghost's POV:

We have been unable to find Kaia and Soap for 3 months and 20 days. 3 months and 20 days.

I became an alcoholic...every day to night drinking Kentucky Bourbon while Kaia's voice, smile and her ghost accompanied me. Every day, every hour...no matter what I'm doing. She is always there.

I know I should seek psychological help, it's not the first time I've hallucinated someone.....

My mother.

My brother.

Joseph.

Roach.

Kaia...

But the difference between them is that my mom, my brother, my nephew and Roach are dead...Kaia is not.

She is alive.

Suffering from cold, hungry...basic needs, pain and fear.

So is Soap, my best friend.

We are all doing what we can, talking to allies, searching every country, airports are looking for them, embassies...everything.

But as usual...nothing.

Like if they didn't exist.

*knock knock*

"Come in." I answered and regretted it.

Liliana walked through the door with some papers and an innocent smile. I put a hand to my face trying to avoid her gaze.

"Lieutenant, here I bring you my last reports." Liliana put the papers on my desk.

"Thank ya' , you were already transferred?" I asked her as I took the papers to skim read them.

"That's right, Texas." Liliana said as she sat down in one of the chairs in front of my desk.

"Mmm." I replied as I continued with the papers.

"They made sure to keep me as far away as possible, didn't they?" Liliana said with a laugh.

"Those are your orders." I told her as I lifted my mask up to my nose to continue drinking my bourbon.

"I miss your face, you know?" Liliana said as she looked at me.

All my life I've had relationships with women, since I was 15 when I lost my virginity to Maria, she wasn't my girlfriend but we went to the same school, we were both curious.

Then with other several women but it was always a one night thing or we didn't last more than 1 or 2 months. They never saw my whole face.

But Liliana did.

So did Kaia.

I put my glass down- "Do you need anything else, Pavia?" I asked a little calmly.

"How are you? About Kaia's situation..." Liliana asked me.

I gave a sigh...
"Busy."

"You need to talk to someone, I'm here...like before. You always used to vent to me..." Liliana said to me in a low voice.

"Exactly, before. Liliana, I'm legally married and I love my wife very much." I told her trying to avoid everything.

"I know, I know. I just wanted to help you." Liliana told me.

"Then don't."

"Calm down...jeez." Liliana said with a short smile.

I kept drinking. I felt my throat and stomach burning from the strong liquid.
