There are no trigger warnings in this episode besides a completely oblivious Buck :)

A/N: Hey Yall! I am so sorry for not posting for so long. With school ending and family problems I haven't really had the chance to write so I deeply apologize for such a late post!

Buck's POV:

Yesterday I had to give my statement to the detective running my case. It was not fun at all. Eddie stayed there by my side the entire time like he said he would. Like he promised. I love this man with all my heart there is no doubt about it. Yesterday just made it even worse but I don't care.

Today is the day I can finally go home. Eddie is helping me get all of my stuff packed up. It's hard to walk with the stupid screws and rods placed into my leg, so I have to use crutches which aren't very helpful when trying to pack up. Eddie has done so much to help. He has barely left my side the entire time in the hospital. Only now and then to see Christopher or get some real food. I have already signed my release papers and now we are just waiting for the wheelchair so I can go. I will not miss this place. I wish I could go to my apartment and stay there but I don't mind staying with Eddie.

Nurse. Ayden Allenson: Alright Mr. Buckley, I have your wheelchair for you so we can get you out of here.

Buck: Sweet! I throw my hands up as if I'm celebrating. I am ready to get out of here.

Nurse. Ayden Allenson: Just remember Evan, take it easy this first week. Try and keep as much pressure off that leg as you can. She gives me a glare. You better use those crutches.

I put my hands up in surrender as she walks away and out of the room. I laugh to myself slightly and look over to Eddie, with him just staring at me. I could feel a small amount of heat rushing to my cheeks, so I quickly looked away. Damn how am I going to handle living with this man for 5 weeks.

Eddie: Alright, I believe it's time for us to leave mi am- Buck. It's time to leave Buck. He quickly grabs my stuff and helps me into the wheelchair.

Buck: Whoo let's get this party started.

Eddie: No, you're going home and resting.

Buck: I let out a sigh. Fineeeeeee.

We both finally exit the hospital. It's been too long. I am so glad to be out of that hospital. I look over at Eddie and he has a smile on his face, he seems happy to be out of that place as well. I will never be able to get over that smile of his. We get over to Eddie's truck and he helps me in. It was challenging, and very painful but we did it. That was a lot of work, and I can feel my eyes getting heavy with sleep wanting to take me over. I decide to ultimately let it, resting my head on the window and closing my eyes.

Eddie's POV:

I look over to Buck who is sleeping away peacefully. He looks quite adorable when he sleeps. I shake my head to try and get that thought to disappear, spoiler alert it doesn't, but I decide to let the thought linger in the back of my mind. I almost slipped up when we were leaving the hospital. 'Mi Amor'? What the hell was I thinking?

I watch Buck sleeping as I wait to move up in the drive through, we are both in need of some real food. I drive up and get our food and continue to drive home. I pull into the driveway and am greeted by the sight of Christopher and Carla with a sign that reads 'WELCOME HOME BUCK!" I look over to Buck and wake him up, His face immediately lighting up with joy.

Christopher: Buckkkkkk! He runs up to us and gives Buck a hug. I missed you, Buck.

Buck: Hey buddy! What do you mean you saw me a few hours ago? He gives off a laugh, a cute laugh.

Christopher: That was the hospital you, I missed just my Buck.

Eddie: Well now you get your Buck for 5 whole weeks.

Christopher: Yayyy. He smiles.

Carla: We all have missed you Buck, you too Eddie.

Christopher: He gives me a hug and I pick him up. Yeah, I missed you to dad.

Eddie: I missed you too Chris.

I plant a small kiss on Chris' forehead and put him down. Carla went into my truck and grabbed the food I had bought and walked in. I decided to help Buck walk in the house since it is still fairly painful for him to use his crutches. I led him into the kitchen where we all sat down and ate the food and chatted. I just mostly listened as Buck and Chris talked about anything and everything. I looked over to Carla to see her just staring at me. She motions for me to go into the living room, which I did, and she followed me and joined me on the couch.

Carla: So, you wanna explain those heart eyes you have for Buck?

Eddie: Huh? I-I I start stuttering on my words. What do you mean?

Carla: The way you are looking at Buck like he is your husband. You are smiling watching him and Chris together. She nudges my arm.

Eddie: I have no idea what you're talking about.

Carla: Sureeee honey. She laughs.

As Carla was laughing, she got up and walked back into the kitchen to start cleaning up from dinner. I was left there sitting on my couch stuck with my thoughts. Is it really that noticeable? I thought I was hiding my feelings for Buck pretty well. I need something to distract my mind. I decide to rush to my room and make sure my room is all set for Buck. I will be sleeping in the living room on the couch while he stays here. I know he is going to argue with me, but I don't care. It's what he deserves. Time skip to right before they all go to bed.

Buck's POV:

Carla left after we all ate dinner, leaving Eddie, Christopher and me to do what we wanted. We watched about 2 movies before Christopher fell asleep. I stayed on the couch as Eddie took Chris into his room. I wanted to get up and help but Eddie wouldn't allow it and to be fair it was very painful to do so anyways.

Eddie: He walks back in. Alright let's get you to bed, you need to rest mister.

Buck: But I don't wannaaaa. I make my voice overdramatically sad.

Eddie: Haha now come on let's get you into bed.

Buck: Wait... I thought you didn't have a guest room.

Eddie: I don't. He grabs my crutches and helps me off the couch.

Buck: So, my bed is here... on the couch. I sit back down onto the couch.

Eddie: No, you will be using my bed, I'll be on the couch. And before you even start to protest, you're injured, and the couch will only make it worse now... let's go.

Buck: No, I will not be kicking you out of your room, I am staying here.

Eddie lets out a huff and glares at me. He crosses his arms and just studies me. He intakes a breath and says, "Looks like I have no other choice, Buckley", and with that he picks me up in a bridal style and carries me to the bedroom. I could feel my face turning a deep shade of red as he put me down onto the bed. Okay that was hot. NO NO NO Buck don't you dare think that. I look up at Eddie's face and his face is slightly red. Huh, odd. I shift my focus to getting into bed, with Eddie's help.

We both say goodnight to each other, and he walks out leaving the door cracked. All of the sheets and pillows on the bed smelled like him and I couldn't be more content with myself. I smile to myself as I let sleep take me over.
