Woah it's me :0 Hey yall I am so sorry for just falling off the face of the earth. I ended up getting caught up with life stuff for the past few months. School work has been stressful, and I needed to focus on that. But I am back!! I am so sorry, but I hope you enjoy this chapter. I am just trying to get back into writing so this chapter may suck.

Buck's POV:

I woke up to the sun beaming in through the windows and Eddie's alarm going off. I smile looking down at Eddie adjusting his eyes to the sunlight. Eddie's face was flushed slightly as he looked up at me and met my eyes. His alarm was still blaring and I was starting to become annoyed so I gave him a look begging for him to turn it off. He rolled his eyes, getting up and turning off the alarm. Immediately I shivered in the cold air after no longer having Eddie to keep me warm. I pull the blanket over myself to try and warm myself up a bit. I watch as Eddie walks towards the bathroom before stopping and turning to me.

Eddie: His voice was still hoarse from sleep. You coming?

Buck: I gave him a confused look before realizing what he meant. Yeah... yeah sorry. When I stood up I could feel my body slightly sore from the events of last night. We do need a shower.

Eddie: He laughs lightly holding his hand out to me, which I gladly take. Especially since I have work today. Can't let anyone know what we were up to last night.

I groaned at the mention of Eddie going to work but I knew it needed to be done. I was excited as I get to spend the day with Christopher, even if I can't do much. I was planning on taking him down to the park and stuff today, which of course when I told Eddie he brought up the Tsunami. After Mine and Eddie's shower we sat in his room for a bit just talking about the day(night) before. Eventually we had to get dressed.

I was sitting in the kitchen making coffee when I felt a pair of strong arms wrap around my waist. I lean into the hug from Eddie, while sighing. I held onto him for a few seconds before loosening my grip slightly but still not letting go. We stood there for a good couple of minutes. Eddie eventually pulled away grabbing the coffee I made myself from my hands and walked into the living room. I quickly chase after him whining to give my coffee back with no success. Eddie smirked at me, turning the mug to his lips before chugging the entire thing down. He looked me in the eyes the whole time.

Buck: My Coffeeeee! I slug my body over to him pouting.

Eddie: He shook his finger at me. Correction, my coffee. He gives me a playful smirk.

I glared back at him, my morning coffee was snatched from my grasp. I was dating a thief. I couldn't keep the pouting act any longer and laughed, kissing his cheek before going back to the kitchen to make myself yet another coffee. This time I was successful in drinking it. Eddie sat with me in the dining room, across from me, at the table. It takes a while before one of us speaks, just enjoying each other's company.

Eddie: So... you'll do okay with just Christopher today? He gives me a thoughtful look.

Buck: I sip my coffee before speaking. Yeah. Like I said, I want to take him to the park then out for lunch... not sure after that though.

Eddie: He looks at me with love filled eyes. Okay, if you need anything just-

Buck: I placed my hand on top of his and cut him off. Edmundo, we will be fine... I will be fine.

Eddie: I know... I just- He sighs. I don't want anything else to happen to you. His face is filled with worry.

I pause, chewing the inside of my lip. I can't be mad at him for worrying about me. He knows about the nightmares so it only makes sense. Both he and Bobby think I should start therapy or something along those lines, worried I have PTSD. I just can't bring myself to do it, at least not yet.I just want all these problems to go away but they keep piling up, but for now I'll just keep the tower balanced. It can't be that bad... right? Eddie clears his throat grabbing my attention, I shake all those thoughts from my head and smile.

Buck: I promise Eddie... If anything goes wrong I will call you. I give him the most sincere look I possibly can to ease his nerves.

Eddie: He gives me a small smile but I could still see the worry plastered on his face. O-Okay... Just be careful mi amor. I know you will but you know how I am... He lets out a small laugh.

I give him a smile before leaning over the table and giving him a soft and passionate kiss. When I pulled away I looked into his eyes and assured everything would be okay. Eventually he had to leave for work leaving me searching on the T.V. for something to watch so I could pass the time. Carla would be picking him up from Tia Pepa's since I am still not cleared to drive. I finally found something to watch when my phone dings and the screen lights up. It was a message from Carla.

Carla: Hey Buck, just got Christopher. We are on our way back now.

I respond with a thumbs up and make sure I have everything ready. I double checked my wallet and I could have sworn I saw something in the window. I went over and checked, now fairly sure that it was my own reflection. I go back to sitting on the couch and waiting. Soon enough I hear the front door open and a small giggling. I turn around to see Christopher and Carla walking in, both having smiles on their faces. Carla had this look on her face like she knew something. It hit me when I realized Christopher was laughing as they looked at each other.

Buck: He told you, didn't he...

Carla: She nods and laughs. He was very excited and had to share the news... When were you and Eddie going to tell me?

I pause, not sure of what to say. It never had crossed our minds to tell Carla, guessing she had figured it out for herself. I shrug and smile at her with an apologetic look on my face. She shakes her head at me returning the smile. We heard Chirstopher laugh as he was standing in between us looking up at me.

Carla: I better get going. Eddie told me you guys-

Buck: I interrupt her so as to not spoil the surprise. Well Chris you better say bye to Carla. I give her a pleading look to not spoil what I have planned and she nods.

Christopher: Bye Carla! He walks over to Carla and gives her a hug before she turns to me.

Carla: Alright Buck you take care now.

I wave goodbye to Carla as she turns and leaves the kitchen towards the front door. Christopher looks up and smiles at me and I happily return it. My phone goes off, I look to see it's a message from Eddie.

Eddie: Hey Buck, Just to give you a heads up it seems like it will be a busy day so I will try my best to respond.

Buck: Okay! I love you and be safe.

Me and Christopher go down to his room and make sure he has everything he needs for the day. He gets dressed into his day clothes and goes down to the kitchen to grab the milk from the fridge to make some cereal but I stop him in his tracks.

Buck: Not so fast.

Christopher: He gives me a confused look. But I'm hungry, Buck.

Buck: No no. Cereal won't do... We are going to IHOP. I watch as a smile appears across his face and starts to giggle.

I return his smile, just as big as I go and pick him up in my arms, Christopher giggling the entire time. We both walk over to my Jeep and hop in. I'm not supposed to be driving for another day or so but I've been doing well and I am making sure nothing bad is going to happen. Me and Christopher eventually made it to the restaurant, no thanks to LA traffic, and made our way in to sit down. As we walked in I recognized a few familiar faces. It turned out to be some of the doctors who had helped me the last time I was in the hospital. They wave us to join them and we happily do. It just so happened to be Doctor Wolke, Doctor Murphy, Jerome and one other person I did not recognize. Turns out it was Shawn Murphy's wife, Lea Murphy. We all talked and caught up on life.

I ended paying for all of our meals as a thank you to them and Christopher had practically begged me to as well. We got back into my jeep and asked which park he wanted to go to. His face lit up and he chose to go to the one near my apartment actually, which he claims is his favorite.
