Within the territory of Cloud Recesses, there was endless greenery that housed numerous tall bamboo trees covering the area. In this certain spot, there were white bunnies all over the place, hopping from one spot to another. These little fluffy creatures were the very rabbits that Lan Yi had been taking care of since she was bounded to the cave that sealed the Yang metal piece. Lan Wangji got them out from the cave and rehabilitated them here. Among the bunnies were two of the ones Wei Ying had captured and gifted to the second Jade.

At the moment, there is a person that sat there alone as he accompanied the furry animals with his presence.

It was Wei Ying.

To avoid Jiang Cheng, Wei Ying had slipped away from their group and ran to hide at this location. He had stumbled upon it by chance and couldn't help but sit down and spend some time with the bunnies. In his arms, Wei Ying held a bunny. He had been appreciating the softness of its white fur as he petted it for a while.

"Little rabbit, little rabbit. It's forbidden to raise pets in Cloud Recesses. So, I guess Lan Zhan had to hide you guys here. Are you happy living here?" Wei Ying asked.

"I'm happy." Wei Ying made his voice higher so as to make it look like the bunny had spoken to him in reply to his question towards it.

"Okay. Since you're happy living here, I won't have to worry." Wei Ying said as he gave it another gentle pet. He was silent for a minute, lost in his thoughts for a while before looking at the rabbit again. "Should I bring you guys to Lotus Pier with me?" he thought out loud. Then he shook his head. "No, no good. If Lan Zhan becomes bored and wants to find you guys, he won't be able to. But..."

He remembered what he had heard back at the Elegance Hall. He wondered why Sect Leader Lan was bidding his sons farewell. It made him curious what they were up to. If their father said that to his sons, did it mean Lan Huan and Lan Zhan would be leaving Cloud Recesses?

"What do you guys think? Where are they going?" Wei Ying kept talking to the bunnies as he contemplated on it himself. Suddenly, his eyes widened as it hit him.

"They aren't going to look for the Yin metal pieces alone, right?" He quickly asked the rabbit. Then, as if it actually talked back to him, "You think so too, don't you? Lan Zhan, how dare he! That day, you were all there. All of you saw it with your grandmaster grandma above. We discovered the Yang metal together. Right now, he and his brother will go to look for it themselves. And he won't bring me! You be the judge. Don't you think he's a little too unreasonable?" Wei Ying grumbled, looking very betrayed.

His rambling got caught by two approaching figures who had been looking for him before he disappeared off to this place.

"A-xian!"

"Shijie." Wei Ying turned to the source of the voice, knowing well who called for him.

He saw both of Jiang Cheng and Jiang Yanli coming towards him.

"What an adorable bunny rabbit." Jiang Yanli said as her eyes saw and skimmed over the little creatures around the area. She walked over to one that was nimbling something from the ground and then she gently picked it up into her arms.

"What are you doing here? So sneaky." Jiang Cheng huffed looking at Wei Ying.

"What? You have a problem?" Wei Ying sassed back at him.

"As a man, does it look seemly for you to be cuddling a rabbit?" Jiang Cheng said raised a brow at him.

"That's true! A manly man like me... cuddling a rabbit." Wei Ying nodded at his words but then without warning, he tossed the bunny towards Jiang Cheng.
