Lan Zhan locked his gaze on the smiling Yunmeng Pride for a few moments, saying nothing, before turning away. Wei Ying simply groaned as he observed this cycle of avoidance. He chose to practice his waterbending while he was still there because Lan Zhan didn't really want to talk to him. He began making willowy movements with his hands and feet, and the cold spring water surrounding him began to follow. A sphere of water, shaped like a ball, was scooped out and stretched with a slender tail. He swirled around, and the water spun around with him. Wei Ying intensified his focus and felt for his energy to heal the injuries on his back. Lan Zhan was staring at him out of the corner of his eye, oblivious to the fact that he had slowly turned to take in the enthralling scene right in front of him. It made him even more curious about how Wei Ying was even making the water faintly glow.

"Lan Zhan, do you like it when I waterbend?" Wei Ying smirked teasingly.

Lan Zhan just turned his head away this time. His ears took on a pink hue once more. Wei Ying didn't notice Lan Zhan's ears, as they were veiled beneath his drenched hair.

"Second Master Lan, don't be shy to tell me. I also really like it when you do air bending. Even when you're fighting, your movements give the impression of a divine dance." Wei Ying praised

"Shut up." Lan Zhan commanded, and his ears continued to turn a darker shade of red.

Wei Ying laughed.

"Lan Zhan, come here," he then said.

"No." Lan Zhan looked at him with caution.

"I'm not planning anything." Wei Ying promised him. "I just remembered that I can help you heal your wounds right now. Zewu Jun said the cold spring can help us heal in a few hours, but I can make yours heal right now. In our sect, we have a unique technique where waterbending can be used for healing. It's actually just taught to girls in our clan, but I've learned a bit from my Shijie," he shared with a smile.

"You can use water bending to heal?" Lan Zhan questioned He was curious and amazed by this information.

Wei Ying gave him a bigger smile.

"Mn! I'll show you! Come on, it won't hurt. It tickles, actually!" he prompted, motioning for him to come closer.

Lan Zhan looked at him before he approached Wei Ying with hesitation. He soon stood close to Wei Ying; the two of them stood face to face, gold eyes intensely staring against silver ones. Wei Ying suddenly felt hot and pondered how it was possible given that they were drenched from head to toe and stood in ice-cold water. He unconsciously fanned himself with his hand.

"Um, can you turn around for me? Your injuries are on your back; I won't be able to heal them with you facing me." Wei Ying squeaked and laughed nervously. The smallest trace of pink dusted his cheeks.

Lan Zhan nodded and turned his back to him. When Wei Ying examined it again, the wounds were visible to him again, but they were mostly obscured by the long strands of hair.

"Ca... can you um..." Wei Ying stuttered, and before he could complete his sentence, Lan Zhan had already grabbed his long hair and pushed it to the front. Allowing Wei Ying to begin healing Lan Zhan's back injuries without restriction. "I'll start now, Lan Zhan," he smiled.

Wei Ying started the healing process. He breathed deeply before dipping his hands into the cold water. He began to concentrate by closing his eyes, and his hands began to glow a grayish blue. Wei Ying raised his palms above the water's surface, and the luminous water slid into his hands like a glove. He placed them carefully on Lan Zhan's back and moved the healing water over the wounds.

Lan Zhan had been agitated, but as soon as the water hit his skin, he became at ease. Warmth and coolness washed over him as the numb sting of his wound faded away. Lan Zhan was astounded by the waterbender's abilities.
