Chapter 4: Kyurangers' Beginning (episode 1)

Some time had passed. Things were starting to get interesting. The kyurangers had finally assembled and found a way to use their kyutamas to transform. From the intel they had at Jark Matter about the current group there were three of them. When shown pictures of the criminals, Onyx could recognize two of them. Spada and Champ had been found by Rebellion at some point. They had never met the other one and no one knew her name. All they knew was she was the green one. That also indicated to Onyx that they didn't have to be there for every kyuranger to be chosen.

Scorpio had gotten the promotion to a karo. Onyx was shocked by the giant change in appearance after he received the power from Don Armage. He was almost unrecognizable. If it wasn't for his tail they wouldn't have realized who he was.

Onyx had been just hanging out at the base for once. They had not had any tasks assigned to them today. But of course that was never going to last. They should've known that by now. The time they thought they would have for peace never came. Something always went wrong and needed fixing by them.

They had been summoned by Don Armage and informed that they had located the kyurangers to be on Planet Jagujagu. He wanted Onyx to go assist their fleet in attacking the kyurangers.

"Very well. But, fair warning I have no intent on killing the rangers." Onyx stated. "I want to have more fun with those toys before tossing them out. Only one battle would be boring to have with these self-proclaimed ultimate saviors."

"If the others don't kill them have your fun. As long as they don't get near to defeating us I'll let you have your fun with them." Don Armage agreed.

"Wonderful. Finally some punching bags I have permission to beat up." Onyx chuckled.

They quickly joined the fleet and set off to the planet. Hopefully this would be fun. Obviously they had to make sure the kyurangers didn't die by Jark Matter so soon but that didn't mean they couldn't fight them. Maybe it would give them a drive to grow even stronger?

Eriedrone walked over to Onyx. "So, Akuma. What do you think of the kyurangers so far?"

"Not particularly savior material. They need to be more uniform if they hope to get anywhere close to defeating us." Onyx replied with a sneer.

"It should be easy enough to get rid of them then."

"Hopefully. Though that would be a bit disappointing if they died so easily."

They landed on the planet and found the kyurangers. Onyx laughed at the sight. Fighting amongst themselves? Just how bad of a group were they already?

They sent down their forces. The kyurangers all jumped into action and transformed to fight. Onyx stood off to the side an observed for a bit. They noted the two that were not transformed. One was fighting while the other rushed to hide. Interesting. Just who were they?

Onyx watched in surprise as the boy was attacked heavily. What was the big deal with that? He wasn't even a kyuranger so why was Eriedrone so insistent on killing him? Shouldn't they focus on the other ones first?

They watched in shock as the boy was tossed into space. He would die! That wasn't a pleasant way to go...

Onyx hoped maybe their kyutama would start doing its thing and say something about that kid. It remained silent. Onyx growled. Screw it. Give that boy a kyutama and save his life! He did nothing to deserve this end!

It seemed like the death kyutama listened to their demand. The kid returned flying down now with a kyutama. Onyx smiled. There was something special about that boy. Maybe their kyutama didn't see it, but they certainly did.

He transformed. Now they had a red one. And that wolfman hiding to the side had one too. However, Onyx could feel the kyutama was locked. His desire wasn't enough to activate it despite someone wanting him to be a kyuranger. So they could work that way too. The more you know.
