Chapter 37: The Power of Death (episode 45)

"We're about to arrive on Earth!" Raptor called.

"Commence operation upon arrival." The commander ordered. "We're ending this on Earth!"

"But Don Armage is... and Tsurugi is..." Spada began to say.

Almost as if he had been summoned, Tsurugi entered the bridge. He had gone to take care of some of the wounds he had sustained in the last fight. Onyx had wanted to help, but he insisted he could handle it on his own. They needed as many ready to fight at a moment's notice as possible anyway.

"Tsurugi." Stinger said his name.

"Are you okay?" Champ questioned.

"Sorry for making you guys worry." Tsurugi replied, "Please forget what I said earlier."

"It's only natural to want to save your own friend." Lucky protested. "I'm sure Onyx feels that way too!"

Onyx elected to not answer. Even if they were to rid Cuervo of Don Armage, there was nothing left of him. Just a corpse who was long dead. The Cuervo they knew was intrinsically connected to Don Armage. There was no Cuervo without him.

"That's right. Any friend of Tsurugi's is a friend of ours." Garu added on.

"I told Lucky to be resolute." Tsurugi said as he walked down the stairs. "It's my turn to be resolute. I will do it my way. Even if we bring each other down... he'll fall by my own hands."

"Tsurugi!" Lucky said.

Tsurugi looked up at Lucky. "There's no time!"

Lucky looked as though he realized something. "Don't tell me... Tsurugi..."

"Everyone. We are exiting the warp hole." Raptor interrupted the rest of the conversation.

As the planet came into view, so did lots and lots of moraimars. Looks like they were right about where Don Armage had gone to. How nice of him to give them a warm welcome like this, really.

"Already?! Spada, Hammie, Garu, intercept them in your voyagers!" The commander ordered. "Lucky's group will head for Earth!"

"Okyuu!"

Everyone headed out. It was time to try and end this once more. At minimum, they needed to prevent the Earth from being blown up.

They arrived on Earth and rushed toward the giant moraimars that had landed. That was where they needed to go to stop this madness.

"They're making Dark Planesium to turn the Earth into a Planesium bomb." Lucky said as they all gazed at the moraimars.

"Onii-chan!" A little kid's voice interrupted them.

Kotaro gasped and started running down the stairs. His little brother was running up them. How nice that they got to reunite for a bit.

"Jirou!" Kotaro hugged him. "You doing okay?"

"Yeah!" Jirou nodded.

"Oh right. You have a little brother." Tsurugi commented as they all went down the stairs a bit.

"Yeah." Kotaro said, "His name's Jirou."

"Looks like your dream is going to come true soon." Jirou said to Kotaro.

"Yeah! I swear to make it come true."

"Okay!" Jirou nodded.

And then out of nowhere, Anton appeared with his Unit 0. He startled everyone and they all moved out of the way of him.

"Poor child, having a dream that'll never come true." Anton taunted.

"Doctor Anton!" Champ said.

"I'm amazed you guys figured out we were after Earth considering your level of brains." Anton said.
