Chapter 12: Dream Big, Kid (episode 10)

To say Don Armage was pissed would be an understatement. When Onyx reported to him that not only had Madakko gotten killed, but that there were two new kyurangers, he flipped out. They had no choice but to say two as Ikaagen would mention it if they didn't.

"Don't let them find the Argo Ship. That's all I care about."

"Understood."

Onyx had no idea where exactly Ikaagen had ended up. They also really could not care that much. They'd rather be alone than with prying eyes. That made things so much more complicated. Look at what had just happened!

Onyx heard that there was another daikaan on Earth nearby. Might as well go see what this one is trying to do. It would give them something to do at least. And it also might lead them to the kyurangers again. They were attacking a lot of Jark Matter people after all. Wouldn't be surprised if they went after whoever this one was.

However, when Onyx arrived, it was to the fact that Lucky was already there and... that kid. Kotaro. He has a seiza blaster on. The hell? He definitely did not have a kyutama. Though... there was some weird thing about him.

It seemed the daikaan was Mothma. Somehow he had survived his moraimars being destroyed. And he was attempting to attack the kid. Hell no. Onyx growled. He was not hurting that kid.

Kotaro was dodging him for a bit, but then he got hit and tumbled to the ground. Mothma started to approach. Lucky cried out in alarm.

Onyx dashed out and placed themself between Kotaro and Mothma. Mothma paused.

"Akuma-sama?" He was confused by the interference.

"You are not laying a hand on this child." Onyx growled. "Get lost."

Mothma backed away. He looked at Onyx one more time. Onyx glared in warning. Mothma fled into the sky.

"The hell are you doing, kid?" Onyx turned around to face Kotaro. "You can't fight!"

"I wanna fight!" Kotaro protested. "Why won't you let me!"

"He was going to kill you."

Lucky walked over to them. "Hand over the blaster, Kotaro. We don't have time for these games. The Orion-gou is in trouble. I have to defeat him soon before bad things happen."

"But..." Kotaro looked dejected.

Onyx felt that weird sense getting stronger. Though, there was something different about it. It wasn't coming from Kotaro.

"Kid, do you have a kyutama on you by chance?" Onyx questioned.

"Eh?! Did you steal a kyutama?" Lucky asked.

Kotaro hesitantly pulled out the kyutama. He handed it over to Onyx. Onyx looked at it. The Ooguma kyutama. There was some weird feeling going on with it. They held it up and activated it, much to the confusion of the other two.

A weird feeling overcame them and suddenly they felt a presence around them. They looked around. There was a... ghost?

"Uh... hello?" Onyx said.

"I'm borrowing your body. Hope you don't mind." The ghost said and moved to hop into them.

"Hell no. Hold on a sec." Onyx protested and reached out a hand to stop them.

Suddenly the ghost became solid and fell to the ground. They stood up in confusion.

"I have a body?"

"Temporary. My kyutama is giving you it. Now, who the hell are you?" Onyx questioned.

"Supreme Commander Big Bear, you might know me as." He said.

"You're..." Lucky trailed off.

"So... you were in that kyutama. Interesting." Onyx commented. "Why?"
