Chapter 8: Are You Proud of Me, Orion? (episode 5)

Early the next morning on Earth, Onyx received a call saying that Eriedrone and Stinger had arrived on Earth and wished to meet up. Onyx entered their ship. Both greeted them.

"So, what exactly do you think so far, Akuma? You've seen what they're up to here." Eriedrone asked.

Onyx shrugged. "I don't really know. They weren't searching for the last kyuranger... that just happened. It seems moreso they just wish to investigate Earth."

"Very well. Who is the governor of this area?"

"Yumepakkun."

"Shall we go pay him a visit and see how he's doing?"

Onyx grumbled. "Fine. Let's go."

"You don't like him?" Stinger asked.

"He's weird. I don't like interacting with him." Onyx replied. "I am honestly impressed he managed to escape death. Considering his horrible performance yesterday it's honestly a miracle that he's still with us."

"We'll give him another chance to try." Eriedrone stated. "Lead the way, Akuma."

Onyx nodded. They led them around the town, searching for wherever Yumepakkun had decided to be at now. It took a little while but eventually they tracked him into an alley. He was throwing another temper tantrum.

Onyx leaned over to Stinger and whispered in his ear. "This is why I don't like him. He acts like a child."

Stinger nodded in agreement.

"Governor Yumepakkun." Eriedrone called for his attention.

Yumepakkun turned around. He grew startled at the sight of Eriedrone.

"You are the Sagittarius Chief Retainer, Eriedrone-sama!" Yumepakkun exclaimed. "And... Akuma-sama..."

"Great observation. Good to know your eyes still work." Onyx grumbled.

"I have orders for you." Eriedrone stated, ignoring the comment Onyx made. "Eliminate the kyurangers immediately."

Yumepakkun nodded. "Gyoisa!"

"Hopefully this time you don't humiliate yourself fighting them." Onyx added.

"It was that pesky unknown kyuranger who ruined everything!" Yumepakkun stated.

"Hmm?" Eriedrone was intrigued.

"You mean the new pink one?" Onyx guessed.

"No. No. Before you came to me there was another kyuranger! A black one! But not the bull. A different black one!"

"Are you sure you're not going crazy?" Onyx said. "The legend said nine kyurangers. If we add in this apparent new one that would be ten. Something is off there."

Now Onyx wished that the kyurangers had killed Yumepakkun yesterday. He was ruining everything with his knowledge. They had never taken into consideration someone talking about it. Not like this.

"I have to agree with Akuma on this." Eriedrone stated. "No one else has ever seen this kyuranger before you. Seems a bit strange."

Yumepakkun backed down at the fact he was outnumbered. Onyx sighed. That was close. They needed to make sure from now on whoever saw them died before they could say a word to anyone about it. At least until they were ready to leave Jark Matter and join the other side for good.

With that, Yumepakkun went on his way to go try and kill the kyurangers. Onyx opted to stay with Eriedrone and Stinger. They didn't need to see that idiot embarrass himself again on the front lines.
