Chapter 29: A New Ship And A Changed Past (episode 33)

For the time being, the Kyurangers took up shelter in an abandoned warehouse. Until they could find a way to get a new ship, they were stuck on Earth. At least they were all together. Well, besides the two who had remained in the past.

"We defeated Don Armage in the past, but yet he is still alive." Tsurugi was discussing their next plan of action. "Our only option is to find his base and defeat him there."

"And that's somewhere in the Southern Cross area?"

"Indeed." Onyx answered, "His base resides in there. However, it is very heavily guarded. It will not be an easy task to get in to even the atmosphere of that area."

"So... even if we locate where exactly his base is... we can't just go there?" Spada asked.

Onyx nodded. "Correct. Don Armage made sure that no one from Rebellion would be able to get anywhere near him so easily. That is all I can say for now. I... hate to admit the fact that I never fully understood the protection system."

"Our other problem is that we have no spaceship." Tsurugi continued.

"We can't make it there using the voyagers." Raptor stated.

"Why don't we just steal a moraimars?" Lucky suggested.

Onyx was about to launch into a lecture about how hard that would be, but a voice interrupted them all.

"No need!"

A bright light filled the area and the someone appeared in it. "Lucky!"

Someone launched themself into Lucky's arms.

"Eris?!" Lucky exclaimed.

Onyx walked over to where Spada was sitting at. "Who is this?"

"You never met her?" Spada was confused for a second. "Ah, right. You were watching Scorpio when we met her. Eris is... a forest spirit. She had one of the kyutamas to make the Argo ship appear. She really likes Lucky."

"I see... a messenger for us now, it appears."

"You people, listen carefully!" Eris spoke to them all, "I have a message from my beloved Shou-sama!"

"I see..." Stinger said, "Commander Shou replaced Orion in giving the Ryuukotsu kyutama to Eris."

"Who is Orion?" Eris questioned, "I was in love with Shou-sama! But now, I only have eyes for Lucky!"

"What is her type then...?" Onyx was confused by the entire situation.

"Anyway, I was told to give you this if anything happened to the Orion-gou." Eris continued the original conversation.

She handed Lucky a kyutama. The Yagi kyutama it seemed. Lucky put it in his blaster and activated it. A video of the commander appeared.

"Ladies and gentlemen, looks like you've lost the Orion-gou." Shou spoke, "I've prepared a shocking present or you. Its name is Battle Orion Ship. Find it! It's on Earth at this location! Check it out!"

"Battle Orion Ship?"

"My word! Such a thing existed?!" Tsurugi exclaimed.

"Do you know something?" Everyone started surrounding Tsurugi.

"Yeah." Tsurugi nodded, "In the past, Orion created a legendary space battleship as an anti-Jark Matter weapon."

"Eh?!"

"If we can activate it..." Tsurugi continued.

"Alright, Lucky!" Lucky cut him off from finishing. "We can use it to smash into Don Armage's base! Let's go find it."
