Lan Zhan' POV

Lately, I've been down on more than I can handle. Wondering around like a lost puppy, I'm actually walking around trying to get to my soulmate.

Part of me being sad is because of them.

They like to cry quite a bit and scream during the night. I feel it and hear it, i know it because their tears fall down my own face.

I just wish that I was with them, to comfort them like I've wished to do. But i can't because i have no idea who they are. Where they are. Or if we live in the same area.

I'd like to be there for them and love them like they should be loved. I would like to be the ears to listen to their story. To be their happiness and their comfort. I wish to be their warm hugs whenever they need it. I wish to be with them whenever things get rough. I wish to become more to them on everything in their life.

I wish they were with me so I could show them how life is meant to be.

Wei Ying' POV

Dear piece of paper,

I hate it here.
So much that I wish this world would just take me and never return me again.
Get me away from this stupid world because I can't take it anymore, I don't want to live a life that makes me just want to die. It's a waste of breath that I take because each time I take it, I wish everything within me would just stop.

It was dark when Lan Wanji had woken up from his slumber, but something had changed. He felt his cheeks wet, and his eyes had hurt, like he had been crying all night, but he had not, not even once. Then it hit him. He finally knew he could feel his soulmates' emotions. He wanted to do all he could to find his soulmate.

Wei wuxian had never fallen asleep last night because he couldn't, not once. He screamed so loud that he had to stay alone, far from everyone else. Because his screams woke up all his neighbors and so now he lived far from the world, except he was still living in a world he never wanted to in the first place.
