It's been six months since I last saw him, and it has been torture because I got so used to him. I got used to the hugs when we were in bed, about to fall asleep. I got used to him being there. I want to go home. My home. I want to see his smile and hear his voice face to face. I want my baby, that's all I want.

It's my birthday and my baby's birthday tomorrow. He doesn't know yet, but I'll be there. I'm his surprise. I told him I'll be gone for four years, but it was only for a year. I said four years just in case they make me stay a bit longer than the year I was meant to be there.
