Ayan grew up knowing how to look after others like no other. He grew up in a household where you had to look out for yourself, but Ayan chose to look out for others before himself.

Akk and Ayan were different in so many ways. They were different because they grew up different. One wanted to be left alone while the other helped everyone else but himself. One wanted to be left alone, while the other wanted to help everyone.

Ayan was once heading out of a building where he had seen someone crying but because he had not seen who it was he did not want to just go up to them invading their privacy, so he just stood back and made sure he was going to be okay.  Ayan stayed until the guy left.

When the guy left, he bumped into Ayan on the way, and Ayan had done so on purpose.

Ayan : I'm so sorry. You okay.
Akk : No, yeah, I'm okay. Sorry for bumping into you.
Ayan : No, I mean about before, I had seen you crying before. Are you alright. I know I'm a stranger to you, but would you care to join me for a drink or something to eat. The name is Ayan, but you can call me Aye.
Akk : Yeah, okay, I'll come with you, I mean, it's better than me being alone, right. And I'm Akk.

And so the two of them went out and had a drink and ordered something to eat.

Ayan invited Akk to eat, and althrough that night, all he thought about was wanting to help Akk with what he was going through.

A few weeks later and Ayan saw Akk again, and this time, it was just as they first met. Akk and Ayan had become friends, but Akk was still not open about what he was going through, but Akk did end up telling Ayan what was really wrong with him and why he always looked sad and why he cried a lot.
Akk just never had gotten over his broken heart.

Ayan' POV.

I saw you stand alone again, and you cried that it made me cry because I stood their not knowing if I should go to you and hug you. But I didn't want to invade your meltdown. I wanted to help, but I did not know how. I wanted to be the shoulder you cried on, but I didn't know if you'd let me be that person. I wanted to be their for you and love you like you've never been loved before but I knew that your last love wasn't so great and so I had to wait and be patient because you were still hurt from that last pain that shattered your heart. I wanted to heal you, but I did not know if you'd let me. I wanted to do something good for you. I wanted to be your reason to stay here with me on this planet we call home. Could I be your home, your safe place, the shoulder you cry on when you need it. Can I be the person to calm you down when you need to be calmed. Can I be the person you go to? Please let me in, please let me help. Please, I'm right here now. Please let me be your safe place. Let me be your comfort. Please just let me in so i can help.

Ayan and Akk had met up again at a small park where no one really went, and this time, Ayan was going to pour out his heart.

They both sat down on a bench, and Ayan then started talking.

Ayan : I love you, Akk, and watching you hurt is hurting me. Watching you cry alone is hurting me and making me cry, too. Watching you go through this alone is hurtful for me, but I know it hurts for you, too. Please let me in, please let me help, I want to be the reason you stay, I want to be the reason you are happy. Please let me take away your pain. Please let me be their when you want to cry or rant about what you're feeling. Please let me in. Let me help you. I don't want to watch you break down alone. I don't want to watch you harm yourself again. I want to help, so please let me know whenever it gets tough because I'm here for you.
Is it possible for me to be your safe place, your comfort, and the person who can love you so much more than anyone else in this world would. Because I love you Akk. I love you so much that it hurts knowing you're hurting alone. When I know, I can help you heal and be loved again, but way better than any other relationship you have had. So please, Akk, can you let me in to love you but to help you as well.

Ayan said every word with tears, falling from his eyes all the way down to the ground. His tears fell like it was raining heavily. The entire time he had spoken to Akk, he held one of Akk' hand in his own, thinking that Akk would pull his hand back, but he did not. Akk listened to the words Aye had said, and he took in every single word. Akk had tears because he had no idea someone wanted to do so much for him. Someone loves him and wants to be there for him. Akk was crying, and Aye moved forwards and without asking, Aye had finally given the hug he wanted, and hugged him so tight it actually calmed Akk down faster than when Akk has to calm himself down. It didn't take too long for Akk to finally wrap his own arms around Aye' waist. And it made Ayan smile because Akk had finally allowed himself to be comforted by Ayan.

And while Akk and Ayan were hugging, Akk finally spoke up.

Akk : I... I am thankful that I have you here right now and want to love me and help me with whatever I'm going through. I know we have only known each other for almost a month now but I feel like ive known you my entire life and it feels nice to have someone here wanting to love me but also take care of me. I want to open up to you, I want to let you in, but I don't know if you'll stay long enough to help me. I don't know if you'll be able to handle everything about me. I want to let you in, I really do, but will you stay for a lifetime to help me because this pain has never been able to go away. So please tell me, are you going to stay with me. Can I really open up to you? Are you actually going to stay with me?
Ayan : Yes, i plan on staying with you till my very last breath. I plan on being their for you until you are no more. I plan on being there for you because i love you, Akk. I love you so much that watching you hurt like this because of the broken heart you are trying to heal yourself is hurting me because i dont want to see the person i love be this hurt. I want to heal you and love you with all i can give to you.
Can I be more than just a friend?

And so Ayan asked the question, even if he had no idea if Akk liked him in that way. He still asked the question.

Ayan : Do you want to be my boyfriend?

Akk pondered about the question because he had no idea someone would even ask that towards him. But he then started crying, and Ayan just held him tighter than he already was. He held him so close that Akk could hear Aye' heartbeat.

Akk : I'm not so easy, I'm going to be a pain. Can you handle that.
Ayan : Love, I wouldn't have asked the question if I wasn't sure I wanted to be their for you through every up and down. I'm here for you always.
Akk : Yes, I'll be your boyfriend.

And for the first time, Aye saw Akk smile so bright that it brought happy tears to him eyes. Akk was then the first one to do the first move because Akk had never felt so loved before that he wanted to give back, and so he pulled away a little from the hug he and Aye had shared and then leaned in again and kissed Aye on his cheek stopping his tears from falling. He then felt Aye move his hand up to his face and cup his face, and soon he felt lips upon his own.

Akk and Ayan shared a loving and passionate kiss between them.

A year later.

Ayan had mended a broken heart, and he put Akk' heart back together with his love and care. Aye gave Akk the last piece of his heart, and that was himself. Ayan had made a heart hole again, and Akk was loved and cared for every second of the day. They had been together for a year now, and they were living their lives as they were meant to.

Akk : I love you, Aye
Ayan : I love you too, my baby Akk.

They were happy and healing together. They did everything together even if they were apart. They always knew the other one was their for them.
