Just as the sun came out, the fog washed away. Just as the sun came out, the birds cheered that it was now going to be a happy day. Just as the sun came out, the frost went away, and the grass became green instead of a white kind of shade. Just as the night sky went away, the bright sunny day appeared and made everything bright. Brighter than a star that shines in the night. Today became happy and bright, and so no scary things could come around because the day was more happy and bright.

Love was sometimes green instead of the white kind of shade because love could be okay, and then sometimes it was grey. Everything never went the right way until you had a love interest that loved you back. Until someone looked at you every day like they had only just met you or that they had just won the lottery.

And for these two, that's just how love came to be for them. From green grass to the white kind of shade but to grey all together. That's the right kind of love these two were destined to have because no love was always perfect. There is always a grey side to it, and their love started because they hated each other.

It began with hatred towards one another..

Mew and Top started out as enemies and hated each other with a passion and fought with that passion, but a passion that ended up with one shot, and the other ended up in jail for it.

One got shot by the other but survived, while the other ended up in jail for 2 years. Mew only served 2 years because of good behavior, except he had 5 more years to do, but his good behavior got him out of jail and back to the outside world.

In the outside world, Mew had met all his family and friends, but there was one person he wanted to see again, but this time not as an enemy. Jail time got Mew thinking about life and everything because he had almost died in jail by another inmate, but he had survived the stabbing he got, and in some way, he knew just how Top must have felt when he was shot.

2 years ago.

Mew and Top had a falling out with each other, and this was an everyday thing. They met during their intermediate days, and believe it or not, both made it to their own graduation in college, even with all their fights and arguments.

They punched each other because of a girl they both liked, because back then they were only just teenagers figuring out what they liked and what they hated, and sure enough, just like any teenage boy, they hated each other for liking the same person. Adult teenagers actually, because both boys were 18 when they met.

"Just fuck off, she's mine. She likes me, not you, so fuck off." Top yelled at Mew and at this time they started a fight, that had everyone around them form a circle.

They fought with each other every day just because of the same girl, but then they stopped when they found out that she liked another girl.

Their fights died down for a while because holidays appeared. They were now 19 years old when they met again, and this time, they were no longer enemies in school but enemies in the adult world. They still fought each other, but this time, it was just bickering about whatever they could fight and bicker about, but one night, they went out to a bar and drank with their friends.

They went their separately, but when they realised they were their at the same time, the fighting began because both were drunk as fuck.

The next thing they know, the bartender had to kick them out for fighting, and when they were thrown out, their fight started up again. They threw punches and said words to each, and both guy ended up walking away with bruise and black eyes.
