"Voldemort. Voldemort is my father." Said Mattheo as if he were talking about a sweet and honest man, not a psychopathic mass murderer.
This threw the entire hall and even the teachers into a frenzy of whispers – "He said you-know-who's name" "He's his son" "They allowed you-know-who's son to join Hogwarts" "He is going to kill us in our sleep" "He's hot though"

McGonagall, having had enough, interrupts "I am sure that you do not wish to lose points from your house on your first day"

"What would you take points for? They asked me a question and I merely provided them with the answers. Is that against the school rules?" said Mattheo daring her to say something. Most of the Slytherin table, a few Ravenclaws and Hufflepuffs and some Gryffindors burst into cheers. No one, in her entire career, had dared to talk to her like that. She had the reputation of a fierce lioness.

"Professor Snape, I suggest that you control your students. And you, Mr Riddle. Have you not learnt any manners? Is this how you talk to your elders, though this would be expected. It is certainly not surprising"

"I have. I am thankful for your concern but it is not needed. Respect is given to those who deserve it. You have done nothing till now that makes me want to talk to you with respect." Said Mattheo

"How can you say that? She is the best teacher Hogwarts has ever had! What have your parents done except murder innocents that makes you address them with respect." Said Hermione.

"I don't waste my time listening to filthy mudbloods"

"Mr Malfoy, This sort of language will not be tolerated in this school. I expect you to drill this into your friend's head." Screamed McGonagall, now losing her patience.

"No" was Draco's uninterested reply. He was busy talking to Dahlia and hadn't even heard half of what she had said.

The three of them then, walk towards the Slytherin table where the students who support their cause have already cleared space for them not out of fear but pure respect and admiration.
