The class erupted into stifled laughter, and even McGonagall couldn't suppress a small smirk at Harry's quick wit. Despite her attempts to taunt him, Harry's ability to counter with humour and confidence only seemed to further frustrate the Transfiguration professor.

Professor Flitwick, unlike McGonagall, was known for his cheerful nature, so charms class was normal. As normal as things in Hogwarts were.

After Charms, the day took an unexpected turn in Defence Against the Dark Arts, where the new teacher turned out to be none other than Remus Lupin. The class proved to be both fun and insightful, with Lupin's unique approach captivating the students. Laughter echoed through the room as Draco, Harry, and their classmates enjoyed the engaging lesson.

As the class came to an end, Lupin requested Harry to stay back. The others filed out, leaving the two alone to discuss matters that seemed to linger beneath the surface. Lupin, in his usual gentle manner, broached the subject of Harry's recent sorting into Slytherin.

"Harry," Lupin began, his expression thoughtful, "McGonagall told me about the change in your House. You asked for a re-sorting. How are you finding Slytherin?"

Harry, with a sincere smile, assured him, "I'm fine, Remus. It's been a pleasant surprise, and I'm genuinely happy."

He then hugged the werewolf in front of him. "I missed you."

"I missed you too, cub." was Remus' reply. His wolf, content after meeting his cub.

Lupin, satisfied with Harry's response, nodded and bid him farewell. Stepping out of the Defence Against the Dark Arts classroom, Harry found Draco waiting for him in front of the Room of Requirement. The door materialized, and they stepped inside.

Inside, they carefully examined the Vanishing Cabinet, checking for any faults. Their exploration revealed a barrier blocking the passageway that connected the two cabinets. Seating themselves on plush bean bags, Draco summoned the house elves, and they were soon enjoying a peaceful lunch.

Casting a Tempus charm, they realized that they had about 15 minutes till lunch ended so, they decided to spend those 15 minutes kissing each other to their heart's content. Eventually, Draco, his silver eyes sparkling with mischief, informed Harry, "I have Ancient Runes next."

Harry, checking his schedule, replied, "I've got a free period. I'll be in the library, searching for a spell to fix the cabinet."

Draco nodded. They parted ways, each embarking on their respective tasks.

Unbeknownst to the two students, Snape kept a keen eye on the evolving dynamics. As he observed Harry comfortably taking a seat next to his godson, clad in the distinctive Slytherin uniform, a sense of suspicion gnawed at him. Draco's behaviour was unusually weird. The blond godson of his never lost his composure like he did in the morning. Besides, the last he knew; Draco's relationship with the Dark Lord was good. So, what was it that had transpired in the few weeks that Harry stayed with Draco in the manor, that had made Draco so scared of the dark lord? On top of that, Harry was staying with him. If there was something wrong, wouldn't he know about it? The fact that both had skipped lunch did not escape his notice as well. He couldn't shake the feeling that something larger was at play.

After enduring a particularly gruelling day of classes, Draco had gone straight to the library, in hopes of meeting Harry. Upon entering, he discovered Harry amidst a chaotic pile of books, attempting the seemingly impossible feat of reading three simultaneously. Amused by his boyfriend's antics, Draco shook his head with a fond smile and approached him, wrapping him in a much-needed embrace. Harry, recognizing Draco's touch instantly, melted into it, the tension of the day momentarily dissipating.
