Previously on Scars of the Past-
As the night unfolded, Draco and Harry refined their revised plan, their motivations intertwining with danger, love, and the thirst for retribution. The details were meticulously worked out, laying the foundation for a future fraught with challenges, but one they would face together. They came to a mutual agreement, one that said that this plan would be narrated to the Dark Lord at lunch the following day and his advice and suggestions would be taken into account.

The following day, as the morning sun painted the sky with hues of gold, a pair of Hogwarts acceptance letters arrived at Malfoy Manor. The excitement in the air was palpable as Harry and Draco eagerly read their letters, already looking forward to the shopping and the rest of the year ahead, especially someone's death. The familiar scent of parchment and ink filled the room as they wrote back the reply in affirmative.

With bright smiles on their faces, they began their daily routine. They brushed their teeth together, sharing the bathroom mirror and the sweetest morning kiss. While freshening up, Harry could not resist tickling Draco in order to evoke raucous laughter from his mate.

After getting ready, they descended the grand staircase to the dining room, joining Lucius and Narcissa for breakfast. Throughout the meal, subtle, stolen kisses passed between Harry and Draco, much to the amusement of the elder Malfoys. A soft comment from Lucius, "Ah, young love," brought forth an elegant laugh from Narcissa, leaving the younger couple puzzled and Lucius with a sly smile. It also sent Harry into a state of thought, he didn't know you could laugh like that! How can somebody look elegant while laughing? That secret thought Harry sadly, would remain with Narcissa.

After the delicious breakfast, they engaged in a few rounds of wizard chess, competitive spirits shining through. Harry lost 3 rounds to Draco, who with a fond grin, promised a rematch later when Harry accused him of cheating.

It was only after a mouth-watering lunch that they prepared to talk to the Dark Lord about the plan.

Harry collected all the pieces of parchment on which they had written drafts of the plan and some notes in a paper bag. Draco laced his fingers with Harry and apparated them to the Gaunt Manor. The dark lord had, as expected, killed the man who had dared to snatch this property from his forefathers, forcing them to live like paupers.

The Gaunt Manor stood proudly against the backdrop of a lush, leafy landscape, its towering architecture a blend of Gothic and medieval styles, a dark fusion of spires, turrets, and battlements. The structure exuded an aura of mystique and enigma, much like its owner, the Dark Lord.

The manor itself bore an enchanting combination of black and coloured elements, a reflection of both Bellatrix and Dark Lord's preferences. Ivy-covered walls intertwined with dark, polished marble, creating a stark yet harmonious contrast. The windows, framed in emerald and ebony, imparted an alluring mysticism to the structure. The best part of the manor was the lighting. The most captivating aspect of the manor was its lighting. Set within coloured glass fixtures, the lights bathed the entire estate in a softly hued radiance as night descended.

At the heart of the manor lay a secluded courtyard adorned with numerous swings suspended from the branches of the trees. Lush, thriving foliage embraced the area. The sweet scent of blooming flowers infused the air, adding a gentle and inviting touch to the enigmatic surroundings.

The interiors of the Gaunt Manor were no less captivating, a blend of sophistication and serenity. Deep, opulent shades of green and black dominated the decor, accentuated by subtle golden highlights. Meticulously crafted tapestries, bearing intricate designs and patterns, adorned the walls, echoing the house's unique blend of history and modernity.
