Draco sighed, a mix of frustration and concern evident on his face. "Harry, listen to me. I understand your desire to fight, but I can't bear to see you compromise your principles. Joining the Death Eaters would mean embracing darkness.

A wave of conflict washed over Harry's features as he grappled with his decision. He took a moment to collect his thoughts before responding. "Draco, I understand your concern for me. I know why you are asking me to rethink this but my decision is final. I am not siding with Dumbledore. Don't you see, Draco? This is the best option I have. Besides, if I ever get in trouble like I always do then I can protect myself. I have been looking death in the eyes for years and I could do it for some more time. As for your darkness and stuff, let's just say that the darkness inside of me has recently woken up after the Weasleys decided to backstab me."

A sly smirk adorned Draco's face, his Slytherin nature shining through. "Dumbledore won't know what hit him," he thought, relishing the intrigue and the power of their plan.

"I love you," Draco declared, locking his mercury eyes with Harry's vivid Avada Kedavra green ones.

Harry's heart skipped a beat, his internal organs performing acrobatics. He couldn't believe it—Draco had uttered those three magical words, spoken them for the first time. Overwhelmed with emotion, Harry grasped Draco's arms and wrapped them around himself, breathing in his intoxicating scent of green apples, ink, and old parchment. If Harry was to ever smell an Amortentia potion, this would be its fragrance. Reluctantly, he slowly released Draco, realizing the need to regain composure, although it was entirely Draco's fault for being so irresistibly warm and comforting.

"Draco?" Harry began, a question burning in his mind.

Draco hummed, his curiosity piqued, awaiting Harry's question.

"If I stay here, won't Dumbledore notice my absence?" Harry asked, his concern evident.

Draco smirked, impressed by Harry's perceptiveness. His love wasn't as foolish as Hermione and his godfather sometimes portrayed him to be. Although unexpected, Draco was glad Harry had raised this question. He walked to his dresser and retrieved a necklace from the bottom drawer, returning to the bed and placing it in Harry's palm. "This," Draco explained, "this is the reason Dumbledore won't suspect a thing."

"A Time-Turner," Harry observed, recognizing the magical artifact.

"Exactly, a Time-Turner."

"How do you have one? I thought the Ministry closely monitored them."

"When you have enough money, anything is possible," Draco replied nonchalantly.

"Oh," Harry muttered, his surprise evident.

"It's already 2 in the morning; we should get some sleep," Draco suggested, aware of the need for rest.

"You're right," Harry agreed.

"Stay here; I'll change," Draco offered, acknowledging his attire of a shirt and black dress pants.

Harry couldn't help but inquire. "Why haven't you changed yet?"

"I was reading. I didn't feel sleepy," Draco admitted.
