Harry beamed at the praise, but curiosity crept into his eyes. "What's the next step then?"

Draco, while helping Harry prepare for the day, filled him in on the details. "Snape wants to meet me after breakfast. We'll use the Room of Requirement during lunch to check the cabinet. It's necessary to know how bad its condition is."

After brushing their teeth side by side, they shared a lingering kiss that spoke volumes of the connection they were building. When it came time to bathe, Draco graciously allowed Harry to go first.

As Harry soaked in the warm water, he couldn't help but comment on the novelty of wearing the Slytherin uniform. "Feels strange, but in a good way," he confessed.

Draco, already accustomed to the traditional green and silver, smirked. "You'll get used to it, Potter. Green suits you, after all." With that, they made their way to the Great Hall for breakfast, hand in hand.

"Wash your face and go back to your room. Do not look suspicious. I will talk to you tomorrow after Breakfast. I will have found a way out by then." Said Severus, gesturing towards the bathroom.

Draco hesitated for a moment, searching Severus's eyes for reassurance. "Promise?" he asked, his voice tinged with hope.

"Promise?" replied Severus.

Draco entered the bathroom and came out, looking much better than he was before. He expressed his gratitude to his godfather before heading back to his room.

Seeing his godson leave, Severus hurried to Dumbledore's office, his expression tense and troubled. He wasted no time in describing the incident with Draco to the Headmaster, his concern evident in the lines on his forehead.

"Dumbledore, Draco came to me. He's distressed, claiming the Dark Lord has ordered him to kill you," Severus explained urgently.

Dumbledore, however, merely waved his hand dismissively. "Severus, Draco is too scared and weak to carry out such a task. This is nothing to be worried about."

"But what if the Dark Lord decides Draco's fear is a weakness and punishes him?" Severus insisted, his worry deepening.

Dumbledore sighed. "I have a plan for that. You can pretend to kill me. I will stay hidden for a while, and Tom will start to believe that I am dead. Eventually, he will forgive Draco. I am sure of it."

Severus, though confused by Dumbledore's plan, nodded in reluctant agreement. However, the Headmaster's next revelation shifted the gravity of the situation.
