second person pov.You regularly ventured to the local coffee shop, both before and after work, relying on coffee to boost your energy.
However, on this particular day, as you finished work, you observed the presence of a new barista. Something about them triggered a sense of recognition, though you could not quite place it at first glance. Their familiarity intrigued you.
The encounter that unfolded between you and the new barista left you momentarily without words; it felt like a cherished dream becoming reality. The experience seemed surreal, almost too good to be true.

As soon as you entered, you noticed how crowded the place was. "Damn, there's a long-ass line," you growled in frustration, your gaze assessing the sudden surge in the cafe's busyness.
You let out a sigh and decided to go with the flow, occupying yourself with your phone to pass the time.
As your gaze shifted between the menu and the working staff, your eyes settled on a fresh face, triggering a strong sense of recognition.
"Oh, my God," you mumbled, the details still eluding you but a certainty that the memory would resurface later. With your phone in hand, you discreetly raised your camera and recorded a video of the woman. You swiftly messaged your best friend, attaching the clip and asking if they recognized her.
In the meantime, you worked to maintain an air of normalcy, consciously distracting yourself from the intrigue unfolding.
Eventually, with your briefcase in tow, you inched your way to the front of the line. Your phone proved to be a successful distraction, and it appeared as though you were engrossed in a task, like you did not have much time.
"Hello," a friendly voice spoke, grabbing your attention.
You hastily glanced up, propping your head forward to meet with the beautiful yet handsome face. Wow, you merely thought. Your breath caught in your throat, realizing the importance of making a composed impression before the familiar woman. You adjusted your suit and slid your phone away, standing up straight. "Yes, hi," you greeted her back, your eyes never leaving her.
"What can I get for you this evening?" she asked you, a gentle smile gracing her features. You could not help but notice the charming, unique whisker dimples that framed her smile.
Although you stuck to your usual order, an inner urge prompted you to prolong the interaction, even amidst the bustling line.
Gathering your thoughts, you devised a strategy. "Hmm," you hummed, lifting your gaze to the menu. "I'll try something new tonight, yeah?" you mentioned, subtly implying your familiarity. "What would you recommend?" you inquired, giving her a hint that you were open to new things.
Locked in a meaningful gaze, you took the opportunity to study her features. A flirtatious nibble of her lip revealed her keen interest, focused solely on you. You worked to mask your own nervousness, despite the internal flutter of your emotions.
"I think... I'd recommend our..." She turned towards the menu momentarily. "You looking for coffee?"
"Yes, miss."
Her neck turned back, a playful grin adorning her face. "Oh, really?" She looked back your way. "I'd say just a latte. I mean, haven't been here that long, but I like lattes in general." She finally stood straight-up with you.
"Okay, then one of those. Medium."
"All right..." She promptly put the order in. "That'll be all for you?"
