I couldn't believe that we were putting the beds together as one big one.

Listen, I didn't want to. I wanted to sleep, not together, in my own bed. But Lia convinced me to, and she wanted me to. So, I mean, I guess... but I still wanted to do my own thing.

Lia snapped her head to my direction. "Ryujin! Watch TV! Get off your phone..." she whined to me, again! She was pulling on my arm, back and forth to get my attention.

I put my phone off and away. "Ah, fine. Just stop..." I disliked her whining. I get it; she told me several times. I rolled my eyes and held a pillow in my lap. I did watch TV, whatever they were playing, yeah.

Lia scoffed. She probably thought it was a bad idea to try and win me over. The invite was a bad idea; I already knew.

I looked over and saw the line of girls. It was from my left, facing the TV, to my right. It was Lia, me, Yeji, Yuna, and Chaeryeong. We managed to make everyone fit in these double beds. I sighed. This was gonna be hell.

At least I was close to Yeji. She was very invested in this little horror movie, I think it is. The lights were shut off and everything to fit the setting. We shared two blankets. Lia, Yeji, and I shared this one big, heavy blanket, and Yuna and Chaeryeong shared another.

We all tried to ration our pillows. I had two, because Lia gave up one of hers. All just for me! It was her and Lia's dorm room, so... And they weren't even together! How crazy is that? Yuna wanted Chaeryeong, Lia wanted me. Who do I want? ...I think Yeji. I giggled in my head and tried to hide a smile.

It all sucks, because Yeji has had a rough day today (like she always does). But she was really excited for this little party. I could tell it boosted her mood a bit.

"I'm going to sleep. Goodbye. It's too scary," Yuna whimpered from across the beds. She started getting under the covers, laying down.

"What?" we all said almost in unison. We all leaned forward to get a look.

"Yuna, seriously? We were supposed to stay up, too!" Lia scolds the girl from all the way across. She slams her hand onto her thigh and groans, leaning back. The plan was ruined! We were supposed to stay up as well, I guess.

Yeji sighs, disappointed. She pinched her nose bridge and kept on watching the thriller that peaked her interest.

"But unnie, I can't! And I'm tired!" Yuna whines again, bothersome to all of the girls. She pulled Chaeryeong down with her. "Me and Chaeryeong are going to sleep."

Chaeryeong said something in agreement. Meanwhile, Lia was fuming. She decided to calm her anger, "You know what, whatever. I'll shut it off once we're... all done watching." Lia had the remote.

I was sort of enjoying the little horror movie. It wasn't as scary, which was okay. It's just that all scary movies take forever to get to the point.

I was laying my head on a pillow, and so was Yeji. Lia was resting on my chest. The other girls were knocked out.

No one was saying anything like earlier. We just watched TV until we fell asleep.

It seemed like Yeji noticed our droopy eyes and said, "You guys can turn it off." Then she reached for her phone to use instead.

Lia hurriedly turned it off. It was pitch-black. You could see nothing! Yeji's bright phone screen, yes. But it was so frightening to not see anything.
