The woman forcefully ripped the tape from the wife's mouth.

"I don't have your money, I swear!"

"See, that's not what your fucking husband said. He said that you had it all stored in some place that you know of." As she spoke, the woman menacingly brandished her gun in front of Yeji.

The woman, with her short raven hair and stylish bangs, exuded an aura of mystery and danger. She was entirely clad in black, her attire matching her hair, and the sleek suit she wore complemented the ominous presence of the gun she carried.

Her flawless, clear skin radiated a natural beauty that was almost cinematic in its perfection, as if she had stepped right out of a movie scene. She possessed some type of significance that couldn't be described.

Who was she?

"It's not mine! He got it all from you, remember?" Yeji, the wife, pleaded with sincerity, attempting to clarify her innocence. "He took it from you! You have to believe me!" she cried, heavily breathing while tears threatened to stream down her cheeks.

"Okay. Here's what I'm getting." The woman elevated her knee onto the couch, assuming a poised stance as she prepared to briefly articulate her perspective. "Yeonjun is telling me you know. Then, you're telling me he knows. Why don't-why don't we ask him?" she partially stammered, emitting a chuckle out of frustration.

Yeji's eyelashes fluttered rapidly as she instinctively retreated, putting as much distance as possible between herself and the imposing woman. Her words hung in the air, and her gaze nervously flickered toward the menacing gun that loomed dangerously close.

Furthermore, her gaze swept across what was once an orderly home. The living room lay in ruins, and the other rooms bore the scars of relentless searching, the woman's men having torn through the place without regard for its condition in their search for the hidden money.

"Hey!" the woman shrieked, turning her head over her shoulder. "Where the fuck is her husband?! Ask that motherfucker where my shit is one more time."

A man suddenly emerged from the adjacent bedroom, his voice grave as he declared, "Ma'am, he's dead."

The woman let out a mocking exclamation of surprise. "Oh!" she feigned, her tone dripping with sarcasm. She pivoted her attention back to Yeji, repeating, "He's dead," once more, this time with a casual half-shrug.

"What?!" Yeji exclaimed, her gaze fixed on the woman, her shock palpable. "What do you mean, he's dead?!"

The woman reiterated, her voice firm, "He's dead. Gone." She straightened up, returning to both her feet. "Look..."

Suddenly, Yeji burst into tears, her sobs wracking her body as she mumbled incomprehensible words to herself.

The woman froze, noticing Yeji's anguish. "Now, why the fuck are you crying?"

"You fucking killed him! He's dead!" Yeji screamed, her body writhing as she desperately tried to free herself from the restraints. "Where are my kids?!"

The woman let out a deep sigh, staring at the helpless wife. "Not here. They ran off." She shook her head, bewildered at the reactions she was getting. "Listen, I don't know why you're so sad. That man never fucking loved you," she asserted, her finger on the trigger as she delivered her explanation.

"What?! Yes, he did!" Yeji stated otherwise.

"No." The woman raised Yeji's chin to ensure all attention was on her. "No, the fuck, he didn't. I know him more than you... He wouldn't have put you in this mess. Hell, he wouldn't have cheated on you. You know why he's so absent from home?!" She backed away, extending her arms to reveal the representation. "This! He's hiding from me!" She pointed at her chest, grinding her teeth as she hissed. "Most of those times he was gone, he wasn't on a fucking business trip; he was out at some other bitch's house, putting his penis into their cunts..."
