Chapter 71: All These New Powers

Y/N's POV

We started to make our way to the training room. On our way there, Alicia talked to me. "Hey, I don't think you noticed this back during the fire, but when you discovered a couple of your powers, your hair changed colors and went back to normal once you stopped using the power you were using."

"Really? What powers was I using? And what colors did you see in my hair?" I asked, really curious.

Well, your hair didn't change color when you discovered your healing power. But when you stopped the flames from getting to the chemicals, most of the hair on the right side of your head turned orange." she answered.

"Wait, only some of my hair changed color?" I questioned.

"Yes. And when you discovered your water power, the hair on the back of your head turned blue. I didn't see you use your advanced hearing ability, so I don't know if your hair changed color at all when you used that power." she said.

"Huh, that's weird." I replied.

She nodded before speaking again. "Now that I think about it, when you lifted a wall of dirt up from the ground, I could have sworn I saw a glimpse of green hair, but it was only a glimpse, I could have been seeing things." she said.

The conversation ended once we entered the training room. We saw BEN and EJ already waiting for us. We all filed into the room.

Puppeteer made his way over to BEN and started to tell him about what happened on our way here. I saw his eyes widening as I made my way to the center of the room. I took off my hoodie and tied it around my waist. He managed to tell the whole story before I was given my first instruction.

Once Slenderman realized I was ready, he spoke. "I want to quickly make sure that you still know how to activate the powers you have already practiced with."

I quickly activated my strength, feeling the power climb up my arms before letting it flow throughout my body. I deactivated it and summoned a shield, keeping it there for a couple of seconds before activating my wind power. I sent a quick wind jab at one of the walls before letting the power dissipate.

After my quick power performance, Jeff came running into the room. Once he realized that the training had already started, he made his way to quietly stand next to BEN. Once he was settled, Slenderman spoke again. "I would like to test out your healing ability. Does anyone have any small wounds she can heal?" He turned to the others in the room.

Alicia meekly spoke up. "I have a couple of small scrapes on my hands from when I fell in the woods."

Slenderman gestured for her to walk up to me. While she did, I tried to remember how I felt when I discovered my power. I remembered feeling worried looking at a nasty burn one of the students had. I clung onto that as I reached out for Alicia.

She held out her hands, palms up. I saw the scrapes she was talking about. I held my hands above hers. My hands started to glow a light blue color.

The others in the room started to huddle around us to get a closer look.

I let my hands hover close to hers and the scapes on her hands were healed within a couple of seconds. I smiled as I let the power dissipate.

The others looked on in amazement. Watching the scrapes on her hands quickly be healed. Despite having seen me heal others before, Alicia stared at her hands in awe once she pulled them back after being healed.

"Cool! Do you think you could heal Jeff's face?" BEN chirped.

Jeff stumbled backwards. "You will not come anywhere near my beautiful face!" he shouted.
