Chapter 62: Diary Update

Y/N's POV

I woke up to someone lightly shaking me. I opened my eyes, but immediately closed them again because of the light. I opened my eyes again and my eyes adjusted. I saw Puppeteer standing next to my bed with bandages in his hands. I sat up and threw the blanket off of my body.

Eventually, he finishes changing my bandages and I put my clothes back on. I pull the blanket back over me and I pass out.

I was woken up again with my phone's alarm going off. I reached over and turned off the alarm on my phone. I sighed and sat up. I stretched my arms over my head and got out of bed.

I walked over to the closet and picked out an outfit for the day. After I made my choice, I made my way to the bathroom and set the clothes on the sink. I got undressed and took a shower.

After the shower, I dried off and got dressed. I looked into the mirror as I brushed through my still damp hair. Once I was done with my hair, I made my way into the kitchen. I passed the living room, with a very bored looking BEN blankly staring at the TV.

I made it to the kitchen, I looked into the fridge to see what I had to eat. I didn't feel like eating the leftovers for breakfast. My eyes landed on some bacon, my stomach growled the second the bacon came into my sight. Looks like the choice has been made. I grabbed the package of bacon and got to work.

I grabbed a pan and put it on the stove. I turned the stove on and threw a few pieces of bacon onto the pan. It wasn't long until I started to hear the satisfying sizzle of cooking bacon. As always, I had to ask BEN if he wanted any. "Hey BEN, you want some bacon?" I yelled out.

I got the same reply as always from BEN. "Sure."

The smell of cooked bacon was flowing through the apartment as I finished cooking the last of the bacon. I held two plates of freshly cooked bacon. As always, I handed one of the plates to BEN and kept the other for myself.

I sat next to him and began to eat. We didn't talk for much of the meal. But near the end, he began to speak. "So, tonight's gonna be your first power training session you've had for a while, right?"

"It is. First time testing out my new wind ability, too." I said, finishing up my meal.

"I'm planning on being there. I can't wait to see what you can do with the wind ability!" BEN said, starting to get excited.

"Well, I have to find an easy way to manifest it first." I stated.

"True, I guess. But you haven't had too much trouble with your other powers, right?" he asked.

"Not really." I responded.

"Then I'm sure that you won't have too much trouble with this one, either." he said, smiling.

I smiled back at him. "Thanks for the small pep talk." I said as I took our plates back to the kitchen.

"Anytime!" BEN said as I walked away.

I got everything in the kitchen all cleaned up. I went into the bathroom and brushed my teeth and was almost ready to head out. I gathered everything that I would need for class and made my way back into the living room with my bag. "Are you ready to go?" I asked BEN. I took out my phone and held it out for him to jump in.

He nodded and immediately hopped into my phone. I slipped my phone into my pocket and headed out.

My classes went by without a hitch. I just focused on my schoolwork. Nothing out of the ordinary. It makes me think about why Slenderman insists on having someone keep an eye on me at all times. I mean, I'm not complaining, especially when it's Puppeteer's turn, but still, nothing has happened.
